“I’ve been a loyal Dutch customer since Oakley opened, and as good as the coffee has been it’s always been the people that made it so enjoyable. I wanna give a huge shout out to Emily, one of Brentwoods Broistas. While chatting the other day waiting on a drink I somehow brought up the time they messed up my “usual” drink and it was THE BEST THING EVER but I could never figure out what they did. Since then she made it her MISSION to make me that perfect drink and todays nomination nailed it! Brown sugar cinnamon, chocolate and caramel… tastes like a cinnamon teddy graham! So I hope you guys take care of your people because they’re definitely taking care of us! Give that girl a bonus!“

“When I attended high school, I was always so excited when I had Willys money! During both my pregnancy’s, they were always my number one craving! In 2021, we moved across the US and I was so sad that there wasn’t one out here. In March 2023 my husband went home on business and drove 45 minutes out of his way to bring me some home! When there, he found out they SHIPPED! I just received my first order and I am so happy. It tastes like home. Thank you Scott for making this easy! I am so appreciate for you!“

“The barista crew here is like a machine in here. They are all on task, never stopping or slowing down. Yet, they are super friendly with their customers. They take time to say hi and remember your name. Happy to go there every friday early morning for my drinks.“

“Veronica didn’t look at me, like Barista’s do at the outside Starbucks, when you ask for something specific. She said “let’s try it!” She put her own SUPER SECRET SPIN on the drink and it was HANDS DOWN the best frapp I’ve ever had! I called it V’s BB Sweet Cream Frap! Yes, the drink was great but the customer service that I got was way cool. I felt like I was joking with one of my “girls”! So DOUBLE PROPS for Veronica, her low key old school approach to customer service and her MAD BARISTA INVENTION SKILL!
Also, I’m so used to people looking down on me. I have an autoimmune disease that has slowly over the last 7 years taken my teeth. After losing my excellent dental insurance it was very hard to keep up with the deterioration over the years. I don’t go out, take pictures or even attempt dating because of the judgement I do receive when I’m out in public. I get it, I’m guilty of it too. I appreciate employees like Veronica who give me some normalcy when I take the chance, leave the house and interact with the world! I’m sure she had no idea what doing her job correctly, could do for this 52 year old single mom! Thanks for more than just the coffee Veronica!“

“I’ve been coming here with my family for years now and never had a problem with the service or quality of food. The donuts are delicious, and the service is fast, easy, and polite. This is a small, family-owned business, so I am always proud to support.

The only thing I would change about Sunshine Doughnut is their lack of vegan and gluten-free options. I know that since this is a small business, it may be more difficult for them to introduce these options, but we live in California, and there’s many people who would benefit from food catering to their dietary needs, including myself.

Nevertheless, I love Sunshine Doughnut and recommend it to anybody in the Brentwood area looking for a quick sweet treat. You won’t regret coming here.“

However, their signature King Cream Donuts are out of this world delicious with the perfect sweetness for the Bavarian cream filling. So glad we have such an outstanding pastry eatery in town.“

“We(especially our kids) love sip and scoop. We have visited for ice cream, come in for coffee, used them for catering and even used their ice cream cart at our daughter’s birthday party. The staff is wonderful and their product is great. We will be back again soon!“
