“I recently visited Specialty’s Cafe & Bakery in San Francisco for a quick breakfast, and I was thoroughly impressed. The cafe features Peet’s Coffee, which makes for a perfect start to the day. I opted for takeout and ordered a Cafe Mocha and the spinach mushroom sandwich, both of which were delicious and fresh. The self-checkout system was incredibly convenient, making the ordering process seamless. The indoor seating area is comfortable, with a great ambiance for both quick stops and longer visits. If you have time, the walk around the bay just outside is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful escape with beautiful views. A fantastic spot for a quick bite or to linger longer—highly recommend!“

Bagels and croissants are both delicious. I havent had any drinks from here yet as I just make tea at home. Its really popular here though so I imagine their drinks are as good as the food.

Ive tried the asiago bagel with a Lil mayo, bacon egg and cheese as well as the croissant with sausage egg and cheese and hot sauce. Highly recommend the hot sauce here, it doesnt taste like a hot sauce ive had before. Its a little sweet and not too spicy or vinegary. I got one of each today for 11.75. I didnt know if I should tip via venmo, so I didnt, so ill bring extra cash next time.

Even if I didnt live as close as i do, id come here.

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“This is a GREAT little local cafe! But it is very small and gets busy fast, so go early or you will have to wait to get in.
The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable (for San Francisco) and everything is delicious!
But like most good places in the city, parking sucks and it's crowded.

“It's a mom and pop shop, and the owners are extremely friendly. After realizing it's my first time here, they introduced menu items to me with passion and even offered extra toppings for what I ordered. I got a chicken teriyaki bento and a soba noodle bowl for my family. The food is really good with great portions, at a very reasonable price point. I will definitely come back.“

“I have been here a few times now. Great food, great service, combined with a modest price. Get there for the early bird and the deals are even better. I have enjoyed their breakfast multiple times. It’s got that charm that I absolutely love when walking into a breakfast/lunch restaurant. “Small space but so cozy and the team in the back is whipping up absolutely fresh and quality food. It is a small inside with limited seating and they have some seating outside.

Everything on the menu is vegetarian, but don’t be fooled, the bowls are super filling. After eating, I don’t feel heavy at all and I leave feeling energized. I like getting the best of the both worlds to get half slaw and half beans. The tamale is warm and fresh. The egg is nice and jammy. I really enjoy the chili crisp and the pickled veg they add to the bowl; really adds more flavors and textures.“

“One of the cutest little cafes across from my hotel. Very nice staff. I love how they welcome you in and offer suggestions. They’re kind, smiling and it makes me feel welcome. I got the egg and cheese with avocado on a croissant. Coffee and a chocolate muffin. Everything was delicious! I’m so happy I tried them and they’re def my go-to for the remainder of my stay.“

“This place saved me & my two friends on our 11 pm post-concert food hunt. Got the Shawarma Arabic, Chicken Gyro, and Beef Shawarma plate. It was a 6/5 for all of us. Served with tzatziki and red chili flake oil + 2 banana peppers.... super flavorful, affordable, chill staff. Beyond worth it. Some cool Egyptian decorations. Only downside is sparse seating close to the door, but that's the norm for east bay. first eats in oakland!! loved it!“

Would otherwise have never heard of this place or ventured in, as it is inside one of those big downtown buildings that one has no business visiting unless one works inside. There is no seating for the eatery itself, it’s basically a order counter for to go orders. The man taking orders and preparing the food is super friendly and very efficient. Food itself was tasty although I only tried whatever was in the surprise box so it wasn’t any of the actual menu choices.“

It shows true passion in the craft to see their presentation and intention with everything served from their menu, and as much as I want to keep this a hidden gem in the sunset, it would be a crime to not share this cafe with the world! Do yourself a favor and have a fantastic breakfast or lunch here, the customer service will make you feel as if you've been a regular for years.
