“A really lovely spot with top notch food and great service. We love Octavio and Sam. Everything on the menu is mouth watering and fits my gluten free diet. Tastewise, it’s one of the best underrated spots in LA. I drink their green ceviche sauce like a soup and dream about their scallops with uni. I do wish they had some more filling items, maybe like a cold soup, or a chayote, jicama ceviche or a more substantial salad. During the pandemic they made an incredible seafood Michelada with uni but they don’t offer it now.

Don’t skip dessert. The crispy peanut butter balls are special.“

“The tacos are delicious. I didn’t prefer the chicharron taco; my assumption was the pork fat would be crispy, but it was blubbery. I didn’t eat it. This was probably a mistake on my end.

The pork tamale was delicious as was the steak taco. The tamale wasn’t dry at all (I’ve seen other reviews saying it was dry). The service was so friendly and kind. I loved the artwork, but I did want a salsa bar. I’ll be back absolutely, and recommend the cantaloupe agua fresca.“

“Found this place on accident. So happy i did! The variety of empanadas were great. They were warm when the boxed them for me. Everything is fresh made. I ordered over a dozen. I recommend the dozen for the savings. While I was there I had the spinach & egg. It was yummy! The gentleman who helped me was very nice & helpful.
