“Super friendly staff. This is me and my dates go to spot. We order food and hookah.

This is definitely a place u take ur date to.

If u have a girls night out, this is the place. Many times we been there, there's been those.

The staff is very patient knowledgeable. "Patient" is very important bcuz many of us aren't familiar with the food or culture. But there hasn't been any problems with anyone or food or hookah.

My date always asks to go here and I never turn her down.

Also, their hookah is decently priced. The same as other places i go to, to hookah.

If I come alone, my date considers it "cheating." ?

Food is decently priced. We were surprised but glad. I'm also glad it's a one stop spot. As in, we don't have to go to another place to eat then come to hookah.“

“The food was excellent, the atmosphere is casual with lots of seating and nice decor. I got the mixed Gyro plate with chicken and beef. The meat is flavorful and the salad is fresh. Comes with fresh pita, hummus and paprika sauce, with hot sauce at the table. The servers gave us a free slice of baklava drenched in honey and pistachios, and hot tea. Would eat here again!“

“We got a combo doner (gyro) wrap. I am picky about doner, it is very hard for me to like if it is not really good. But this doner was amazing! Juicy, well cooked, tasty. No additional sauce in the wrap, just like the real Turkish doner! I highly recommend this place. And I’ll definitely try the other meal options in the future.“

“What a wonderful place. We stopped for lunch there on the way from San Francisco to Santa Cruz and it was so good. We stopped again for lunch. The next day coming back. The owner, host, is a gem. The food is fantastic. The whole Bronzino is enough for two and a great deal and really fresh fish done perfectly. Also, the appetizer sampler is a real joy. And the lentil soup is the best that we’ve ever had. Same for the spanakopita. Good Prosecco! Turkish coffee tops it all off perfectly with some baklava. “I usually place takeout orders by calling them. This time, I dined in, and once again, the food was incredible. I also ordered a tea pot and the kunefe dessert. They came by a couple of times to ask if I wanted more tea or if I needed anything else, like extra sauce or bread. That was super thoughtful of them. I love Mediterranean food, but this place gives me a homemade food feeling, which makes me love it even more. They have some cute pictures on the walls featuring Turkey and Turkish food, which makes the place feel very authentic.“

Service: this place has minimal interaction with servers as every table has a QR code to order food and pay when you order.

Atmosphere: divided into 3 parts outdoor, indoor and patio. Indoors is bright with open kitchen and patio is dark with plants, string lights and heaters. Sat in patio and loved the vibe.“

“I had the lamb/beef gyro plate, which came with rice, salad and pita and I’m writing this because I’m very well versed in Mediterranean food, and this is some truly top notch food. White rice can be bland but this one was flavorful, the salad was well seasoned, as was the meat and the pita was the absolute best I’ve had in years. Delicious.“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

The place (family market) is a nice corner store that sells everything from liquor to groceries with a kitchen attached (The big baba)! We tried their Philly cheese steak and it’s super tasty and filling! We tried the kofta plate and the chicken shawarma plate. The meats are great and the side fries are super tasty and crispy! Garlic fries is a bomb! Prices are fair, food is delicious, and quantities are big. Highly recommended! Will be back!“

“I was visiting the area and found this place on Maps near my hotel. WOW what a find! It was hard making a decision, because everything on the menu sounded great. I got a kefta kebab plate: 3 big pieces of kefta on yellow rice with roasted veggies. It came with a nice salad with lots of finely chopped Persian cucumbers, and a very generous dollop of hummus. And, of course, a lovely big pita. This made dinner last night and lunch today. So yummy. If you like spice, say YES to the hot sauce! Tangy and delicious.

“I figured I've been here enough times that it was time to give a positive review to Nick the Greek. The food is always consistently good, service spot on and a great to go option. Never had a miss here. I appreciate having the ability to order online and pickup onsite. Deseerts are really good too. It's our go to place when we figuring out between cook something or pick up something. We've leaned more towards picking up and Nick the Greek hasn't let us down.

Vegetarian options: There are falafel, hummus and plenty of vegetarian salad options.

Parking: I usually find parking behind. San Carlos in general has inadequate parking space.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Plenty of space and casual dining. Outdoor tables as well.“

“Oh my goodness. Such a gem in the rough. Amazing food in the middle of an industrial area. I'm an old fat white guy, and the meal defeated me. For the first time in a long time, I needed a doggy bag. The Shawarma were delicious as were the pickled veggies and cole slaw. The Arabic coffee was to die for. So rich and thick!“

Last week we stopped by Pasha in the tender-nob. This was such a good happy hour because it goes from 5 PM to 7:30 PM and had a lot of food and cocktail options. This is also a hookah lounge so there will be people smoking hookah, which is also something that was on the happy hour.

We didn’t order hookah, but it is on the happy hour for $28. here’s what we ordered and the cost:
