“Last year, during my first visit to San Francisco, I discovered this restaurant and absolutely loved it. Now I’m back in San Francisco for the second time, and on my very first day in town, I knew I had to come back here.

The food is incredibly delicious! I was so excited to start eating that I completely forgot to take a picture of the chicken soup, but I did manage to get photos of the İskender and the dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just as amazing as I remembered.

My other daughter got the tovuk shish kabob and was pleased with it. We also really liked the sigara boregi appetizer! The tzatziki was absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful! Very attentive and gave us tzatziki, pita and baklava on the house. We were treated very well, as were the other diners.“

When I used to visit my sister who lives in the bay area, we came to this place and instantly fell in love. It felt like a taste of back home with the authentic spices and lively ambience. The food was delicious, extremely fresh and well seasoned. Everything came out piping hot and was clearly made with fresh ingredients. That’s hard to find nowadays. We ordered just about everything popular on the menu and I definitely recommend the sultani… the char on the meat is truly one of a kind. I also recommend the manti. It’s so unique but the tarte yogurt mixed with the tomato sauce just works. The service was also impeccable. Our waiter, Hussein, was so helpful and took great care of us during our stay. We didn’t want to leave! It was such a beautiful stay and I will definitely be returning for the coming years that I will live in SF!“

The wrap was moist and a bit chewy like a great burrito. The meat was very juicy and soft. Even the veggies inside the wrap were notably yummy. Hummus was fantastic too. Definitely worth a visit.“
