“Locals visiting out of curiosity. Food was very good. Poolside location was really nice even on a 95 degree day. Lots of shade. The only downside were the yellow jackets. We have them at our home at this time of year as well. The traps were hanging very close to the tables. One was right above our head. Hanging the yellow jacket traps away from the food/guest area might be a better solution. Other than that everything was great. We will recommend and return.“

“I enjoyed my shrimp tacos. They bring you chips and salsa, which is a small portion then they charge you $2 on your bill when you get it? So in other words, you don’t have a choice unless you tell them next time you’re there that you don’t want the chips in case you don’t. That was a little strange that they charge you automatically. A little overpriced. Other than those 2 things (being automatically charged for chips and a little overpriced), everything was fine.“

“When I think of consistently great food, I think of Lila's. The staff are responsive and helpful, the space is extremely clean and organized with booths and tables. The chef makes the food within plain view which is awesome. This place hasnt stayed in business for over 20 years without fully earning it.

Parking: Parking is fantastic. Excellent location.

“Wow! What an awesome little restaurant! We decided to roll the dice and went there for dinner. I was totally blown away by the quality and the quantity of the food and the friendly service! The interior decore was fantastic with beautiful and colorful tables and chairs. The place was clean and spotless too!

They serve some of the BEST Mexican food out West! I've eaten Mexican cuisine in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. But so far, this has been the restaurant that made me go WOW after my first bite! All the ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection with passion! And the portion sizes were HUGE! They come on a 12 to 14 inch plate packed with food in every inch of that plate! My pictures really don't do justice as to the portion sizes and freshness of the food. I highly recommend the Chimichanga, Super Burrito, and the Carnita platter. The pork carnitas had the perfect crispness on the outside yet juicy tenderness inside -- which is quite a difficult feat. However, you can't go wrong with any of the menu items.

The restaurant itself is pretty small. Ordering part was self-service by going up to the counter. Once your order is placed, then they bring the food to your table.

The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The nice young lady that served us.antioned that they have been there since 1986. She is the granddaughter of the founder of this restaurant. I've visited Santa Rosa off and on for many years and never knew about this place -- quite shamefully. This is a must visit restaurant. I know this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant and I plan to dine here every time I'm in Santa Rosa!“

“Came for dinner with my kiddos. The staff was super friendly! Karina, Thomas, and Edgar where all so polite and attentive to our needs. When dinning with my children they can be a bit loud but they where so understanding that kids are kids!! Definitely coming back. Ps the molcajete plate was amazing. Definitely recommend!!!“
