He always shows love with the portions. The instructor side is decent as well but I digress. The only downside is the wait times.“

“We hit up the Lab on our last night in Oceanside, and were quickly greeted and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The only negative I have, which was clearly just a mix up and resolved as soon as it was realized, was that we sat for nearly 25 minutes before someone came over. We didn't say anything for a while as we were exploring the menu, chatting and just taking in the scene, but once we did, the manager apologized and sent someone right over.The house white pasta was fantastic, and while there are other, more exciting things on the menu, I was just craving pasta and it was perfect! My husband got the jerk chicken sandwich and literally inhaled it; he loved it! The tater tots, too. Kids meals were great portions and enjoyed. One of the best meals we had in Oceanside!“

“My favorite restaurant from our recent trip to Oceanside! Everything was delicious. The kids meals were huge and their fries were so good. The pecan crusted salmon with brussel sprouts and sweet potato mash was incredible. Never have I ever had such delicious b sprouts and I was worried the sweet potatoes would be too sweet but they were perfect. The salmon was equally delicious and all around the dish was full of perfect bites.“

And the manager went above and beyond to adjust the timing for us because we had a crying infant.All around a fantastic experience and I wish them the best in their bid for a Michelin star. For sure as good if not better than many 1 star Michelin restaurants we’ve been to.If I had one minor critique it’s that they were out of one of the wines on their menu, which just means they need to update their inventory more often. “This is a beautiful historical building with tons of charm, hard work, love and great food. For the history buffs, check the placard outside and online. The owner Faro is an amazing man, businessman and he has a passion for his restaurant business. He's a staple in Fallbrook and he aims to succeed with making his businesses pleasant for all who dine. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. It can be busy on a weekend. Tons of outdoor area for wedding reception, baby showers and gatherings for groups. Inside bar is fun and lots of design inside. The back room has a lovely fireplace. Suggestion to move the table from the beautiful view of the fireplace and place electric candles within and around! Use that mantle for a focal point in the back of the house! So cozy and romantic. There is a tv in the back as well. Would be nice to have that on with anything while dining. Our server was amazing. He had all of the answers to our questions and his owl tattoo was beautiful. He was attentive, kind, professional and funny. The back room gets very loud when full. I'd also say turn up the music so we don't have to hear everyone's conversations on busy nights. The fish and chips used to be served on a wooden board. The batter seems to have been changed or maybe it was left on the line too long. The breading was a little soggy. Wayyy too many fries served with the fish and chips. Half the fries and try that new batter please. Overall, always wonderful to be there. We look forward to coming back again.“
“This facility and staff are phenomenal! Great food, great service, and awesome venue!We were recently married in Oceanside and had our Groom's Dinner at the Vault. There are a ton of different dinner / menu options and working through details was easy and very engaging. We had a party of about 45 people head from WI to CA for our ceremony; everyone was impressed with the night!Some highlights:-We had the whole facility to ourselves for the scheduled hours (which includes on-site bathrooms)-Food was excellent; they worked with us on food priority as we had a bunch of small kiddos who were hungry-Specialty drinks were excellent; they put together a "bride" and "groom's" take on our suggested drinks-Staff was very professional and very upbeat-Great music selection and sound system.-You can watch the kitchen staff work; food is served family style as it's needed (people can eat when they want).Overall: This was our gift to those that came out to see our wedding and it did not disappoint. If you want easy, elegant, delicious and fun, don't hesitate.“

“We've visited PCS multiple times in the past month alone because we appreciate the quality service (including table service), excellent happy hour, and some pretty great cocktails. In an era of counter service only and automated menus, PCS is a great throwback spot for beer, whiskey, food, and service. The building has an indoor/outdoor concept, with a big outside patio wrapping around from the main entrance to the Pacific Coast Highway. Multiple indoor seating options with a view into the distillery. Excellent whiskey.“
“Scratch made food is good, and the service and atmosphere are very pleasant. Came here on a rainy day so the outdoor patio was not seated, but we were immediately seated inside. We have been here before when the outside was open and it is very nice out there on a nice day. The menus rotate with each seating and are seasonally adorned with tasty selections.
