“I always love coming here when I'm in the area. They have some of the best gelato I've had period. The staff is always eager to let you sample different flavors and everything I've tried has been delicious, especially the pistachio 10/10I've also had some of their coffee and matcha just to try it out. The matcha is made using a whisk and bowl and was yummy. The coffee was honestly just ok, still 5 stars though because the gelato is that good!“

“I love how this small , family-owned business is located conveniently on Mission Ave. Great service and they have some pastries & vegan sweets too. “Such a crazy cool concept! I loved that it was located in an old mechanic shop, and this place had such a cool vibe too. I ordered a build your own that featured turkey and bacon and some avocado. It was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and had such great flavors. My fiancé ordered the Chicken Pesto, which he loved. He also tried the Pizza Panini too, that he also really enjoyed. Id definitely love to come back next time we're in town!“

“Every time I I ordered boba milk tea of any flavor the taste is horrible. I paid $8 for large. Like today I ordered Peach flavor. Omg there's no taste to it . This happened to me 5 times . I'm not going back to this place. This place needs to be consistent with the milk tea flavors. This is an update from 1 star to 4 stars. I went back to Ding Tea last Friday April 19,2024 to get my free milk tea drink and this time they did a great job! Shanaia is very friendly and helpful & Matthew made our Peach milk tea and Strawberry milk tea and it's very tasty. Both of them are quick getting your order and making it. I'll be coming back here again, I just hope that they will be consistent with the flavors.“

“I am only upset I did not come in to this lovely place sooner. I ordered the Lavender Haze Latte (vanilla, lavender & espresso) and it was not only delicious but it was also strong. “Times being what they are, I ordered a few pints for delivery. I'm near downtown San Diego, so the pints were delivered on a Thursday. The gelato was excellent, very flavorful and yummy. The packaging was also excellent. They offer contact-less delivery, but I happened to be outside when the driver arrived. Driver was incredibly courteous and friendly and taking appropriate precautions (wearing a mask and etc.). Wonderful experience. Will order again and will visit the store in future.“

“I discovered this place on my daily walk. They have a nice selection of acai bases; I picked the low sugar version and dragonflies with a variety of fruit.The bowl was delicious but I love going places where the staff is kind and you feel like staying... Magy helped me and she makes me want to come back. I highly recommend it. The place is also very clean!“

“Always wondered this place when visit flower fields. Glad we tried. It has a vast variety of different cuisines to choose from. We tried the Lobster Lab. Definitely worth it. We had Lobster roll, crab roll and lobster bisque. Delicious meat , generous portions. It is not easy to miss the giant windmill , give it a try.“

Took my SO here yesterday for breakfast since she was having a "sick day" and this was definitely the RX. “Today was my first time coming here! The girl at the window was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products! She was even able to make my white chocolate mocha with toffee nut! 24 oz and inside is 4 shots of espresso ( I was sold on coming back just for that!) it was so yummy I had a hard time putting it down that half my drink was gone before I got home! “This was my first experience at DB. I have to say.... Now I know why there are lines.... The coffee is very good. Smooth with not bitter bite at the finish.The customer service, though, is what got me. The cashier was extremely outgoing and super friendly. It wasn't an act, but rather authentic. While waiting for my latte to be made, she proactively had a conversation with me on how things were going, if there were any plans for the day, etc... She was engaging, courteous, and genuine. “My Brother-In-Law gets his coffee beans here and recommended. I was able to see Doug at work roasting the beans. Our favorite local coffee roasters. Tried a hot espresso latte and it was very good. Ended up buying a small bag of Snickerdoodle coffee in a small bag and fired up the Moccamaster and home the next day and it was very flavorful. You will love La Costa Coffee Roasting!“

“I had a Banana Latte and it was really good. The banana flavor was not overpowering at all but you could still taste it enough. I really loved the vibe of the cafe. It’s def a place you can go work or just hang out with friends. Service was great too.“

“Cafe Topes was super busy when my friend and I came for breakfast (Saturday at 11am, duh it's busy!) but the service is so quick and efficient we were in and out in thirty minutes. You order at the front, the person who took our order was super helpful and friendly (I wish I got his name) and made great recommendations. We got the crack breakfast burrito, the 222, and two delicious lemonades. The food came out incredibly fast, piping hot, and super yummy. “We happened to walk by this place on our east to the Thursday market right next to it. There were many people eating inside and outside on their patio. We walked in to order a quick breakfast at the register. We found an empty seating and they brought out our meals. My breakfast sandwich was on a butter croissant and it was delicious! I think the croissant was an alternative since they ran out of their other bread, so I would recommend ordering with the croissant! The bacon inlet was cooked too perfecting! Over all, great service, great food and I would rely good again. I wish I would have ordered some bakery Items to go to try it.“

“Very comfy space, cool decor and very tasty cups of coffee. Large selection of varieties (blends, single origins, varietals), including coffee equipment as well. The batista was extremely nice, he even gave me and my two buddies a taster of another coffee after we all got our cups. Can guarantee you will be amazed with their different coffee cups. “A few months ago our nonprofit organization was looking for a place where our families could meet up to enjoy some amazing coffee and socialize a bit. Our Angels at Right Hand Angels are disabled and many times they are not accepted in the community. That is not the case here. Each time we have walked in our families have been greeted with kindness, dignity and respect. The staff and owner is always quick to make a smile or chat for a few and even have made some great selections on foods and the game chess. One of our athletes in particular is very quick to claim his favorite chair where he can visually see everything and everyone around him in hopes to make small talk with families. Socialization is so very important to them. We think nothing but the world of this facility and highly recommend the dirty spiced chai and avocado toast. Join them. Atmosphere is very pleasant and wheelchair accessible.“

“This is a great spot for doughnuts! They are located 2 blocks from the Oceanside pier. Staff are friendly and efficient. These are not your basic typical donuts. They are large and fluffy! They have a great variety. Today they had 2 doughnuts that were filled. One was a raspberry jelly and the other one they had was filled with coconut. My mom tried the raspberry filled one. It was really good! The jelly was fresh and not too sweet. I had the strawberry shortcake. It was topped with fresh strawberries, icing, and a touch of whipped cream. It was delicious! My sister got the Salty beach which was the frosted glaze with cinnamon sugar nice and light. The donuts were flaky and easy to pull apart. Check them out you won't be disappointed. This is a MUST if you are in DT Oceanside.“

It’s the type of bakery where you pick up a pair of tongs and you load up either your tray or a to-go box. They offer a slew of pastries, donuts, tarts, croissants, along with savory items like croquette, wraps, and sandwiches. My personal favorites were the Very Berry Pastry, Fruit Bite, and the Jumbo Twisted Donut.By the register, they offer cakes whole and by the slice— my favorite is the Mocha Cake. “This small shop a few blocks from the Oceanside beach was the perfect stop after my morning run.The place was sunny, cozy, and smelled amazing. A small selection of pastries was available at the counter. I ordered a warmed cheese danish, a vanilla latte, and added a drip coffee since I like to try the drip and espresso at a new spot.The latte had incredibly smooth foam on top, a small detail I find rare and enjoyable. Both drinks were rich, smooth, and delicious.“

“I love Happy Lemon, can never go wrong. They adjust sweet level / ice, and the drinks taste great. I usually get the C4 (Kumquat, no lychee) and it's such a treat friendly staff as usual, and most locations I've been to are usually busy. “I hit up cosmic bloom to meet a friend for coffee last week. It was my first time there but I had an amazing maple bourbon flavored iced coffee that the owner recommended. It was probably one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Furthermore the overall atmosphere and vibe here is on another level. I love the collection of VHS movies on the shelves.
