I had the 3 piece meal original recipe chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit. And a small drink. The employees were so friendly the cashier gave me a senior discount. Lightly battered with light seasoning.
Try this place instead of the other Von's.

“Chicken & rice is everywhere now, but I think the chicken here is very tender and the selection is convenient.

The rice can be replaced with salad, when I want to eat a diet meal, I will buy chicken + salad here , or tofu .

“I heard about the Tuesday special that kfc has and I came here to this location cause it was the closest to me and it did not disappoint service was good , I was greeted with warmth smiles it felt like home , waiting time was also good i was just getting my drink and the next time i knew it my order was already ready and finally THE CHICKEN WAS FRESH AND HOT!! tasted delicious. “Stopped in for dinner while passing through San Jose and so glad we did! Highly recommend getting the thai basil chicken w/ white rice and kai gainsap w/ chicken rice, so delicious and perfect to split between two people (we even had some leftover for breakfast).“

“We haven’t been to this Vons in a while, but were in the mood for some gimbap and had to stop in to try their new menu additions.
The staff were so kind and welcoming! They introduced the new menu to us and highlighted some of the items. We ordered the combo fried chicken and gimbap.
Fried chicken was amazing as always, juicy and crispy. The gimbap was delicious! This will be my go to spot now to order gimbap from.

“Great fried chicken. Cheesling fries are also great. A bit slow to come out as they make it fresh, but well worth it. Takeout is great and they package things super well.
Overall feels very Korean, down to the cardboard soju ad standees.
Not a super fancy place or anything, but nice for some fried chicken.
Small (8 piece) boneless wings + fries are basically enough for 2 people. Leftovers are fine but you can't get the chicken as crispy as when it comes out fresh....“

“They have new menu items ranging from chicken (obviously!) to Korean appetizer snacks (tteokbokki/mandoo/japchae). We loved the hot, crispy fried chicken and the soy garlic fried chicken. The server was nice and friendly. The place is great for eating with friends, definitely worth checking out.“

“I ordered two wraps thru Uber Eats. And I wanted to say it was delicious. The paneer gluten free wrap was juicy and spicy. The pita wrap had flavor explosion of veggies, sauce and melt in your mouth pita. This restaurant will be my favorite and in rotation for Uber Eats delivery“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such a fantastic experience that I just had to share it! I called in with a few questions and spoke with a gentleman named Bren. He was an absolute sweetheart ,incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to walk me through the menu, answer all my questions, and made me feel like a truly valued customer. It’s rare to come across service this thoughtful, and he absolutely deserves to be recognized for it.

The food was delicious, but it was the outstanding service that really stood out. Because of Bren, I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend“
