I ordered a simple carne asada quesadilla with some salsa and sour cream. Service was fast and friendly, and food was tasty, juicy, and very satisfying. What a cute little spot for a quick lunch on the run, and they have breakfast too!“
“Been going here for years, arancini is great. The prices have gone up a little over the years, but the quality is still great. Heck, most of the staff is the same too. Even after not going for a few months you can still be recognized and the guys can make a pretty good guess of what you're asking for even if you can't be heard above the lunch crowd. Fortunately they always have enough people working the counter that you can be out in a couple of minutes.Parking: very large number of spots behind the restaurant. Just need to walk around the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: This store is so cramped, there wouldn't be any room to maneuver a wheelchair, especially during lunch.“
“Fantastic sandwiches! We tried the "carnitas torta" and "the slammer." We'd absolutely order both again. The bread here was incredibly fresh, as was all the produce, and the meats were delicious. I honestly can't stop thinking about the herbed olive oil that put the slammer sandwich over the top...and the carnitas were so tender and also really enjoyed the cilantro lime ranch on that sandwich, as well. We will be back!“
“Tried for the first time. I was always curious but with a good review from a friend I decided to give it a try. Old school deli style with two people before me and they had ordered multiple sandwiches. Not too long of a wait and the woman at the counter was very friendly and thanked me for waiting. I ordered the Italian sub (among the many good sounding choices). The middle size was big for one person but it was amazing! The bread was soft and the meats were packed with flavor. I asked for everything on it (I usually request no peppers but felt like it was necessary for a Italian sub) with Italian dressing too. Everything was perfectly balanced and I couldn't eat it fast enough when I got home. Great place, and worth your business. Got a sandwich card when the Gentleman asked and am happy I did. I will be frequenting this place.“
“Great customer service. I had a Thai chicken wrap, and it was delicious! A spinach wrap filled with chicken, lettuce, dried tomatoes, crispy wontons, peanuts, and a spicy peanut sauce! It was really good, and I thought it was huge! Lot of interesting coffee choices. I'll try one next time. Nice, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable pricing.“
“Quaint Historical Deli. We read about it in a book about the history of Italian’s in San Jose. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a 1908 Garlic Sausage sandwich. Both were delicious. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful.“

“A hidden gem. Tasty sandwiches just walking distance from where I live. The sweet lady working makes beautiful sandwiches as quick as she can and they are served up with a side of sweet loving hospitality. She has so many treats along with her deli and breakfast sandwiches and a variety of drinks to choose from. There might be a crowd for next door but please don't pass her up! I will forever support her little business“
“A bit of a warning, the parking space is quite busy and tight due to the Lee's Supermarket. Best practice is to park a bit more farther and just walk - it'll be worth it. This is my to go spot for sugar cane juice and they do not water down the drink unlike the place at the Grand Century mall. The sugar cane drink with calamansi is my personal favorite. The cost averages around $7-$8 per drink. This place is ran by a few folks and they are nice and patient if you have any questions. The place is full of Vietnamese products but no places to sit down to chill.“

“Alotta's is a little out of the way sandwich shop that focuses on freshly prepped each day food and a friendly smile and conversation. The presence of this sandwich shop is strong enough that I was recommended this place while flying into San Jose airport. I drove the 25 mins into the quiet streets of Palo Alto to taste the hype. The hype is real. Along with great food there is a Santa Margherita to Porto Fino mural on the wall (attached for your viewing pleasure). I recommend the meatball sandwich and a bag of spiced nacho cheese Joe chips.“
“I've heard about the Don's Deli from my old pal Stinky Wedemeyer, and since I'm in Sunnyvale with my pal Thelonious Grumpsteller helping him out with issues he's got with his neighbor's Honey Badger tearing up his Pinkalilly patch, I'll be going there for sure. Well, it's a first for me having to deal with a Honey Badger, they're nasty little creatures, and almost as mean as Ol Mable Spinticket, so I'll just do the same to it as I did to Mabel...I put a handful of chopped up Ghost Peppers in it mouth. “We Yelped places for banh mi and Yelp did not disappoint! Already a line outside the door at 11. This place is unique because they offer small and large size bánh mì. We got one small đặc biệt. It’s so cute! The size of my palm. The slices of meat were thick. Bread is made in house and the sauce was on point with creamy salt sweet flavor I have never seen this size in Southern CA. So convenient and filling!“
“Delicious, FRESH, ingredients every time. I've been coming here for a while now and have not been disappointed. My go-to is the bacon breakfast burrito which has a tortilla with melted cheese, eggs, perfectly cooked hash browns and bacon. They are not cheap and pack the burrito. The food taste homemade and all their ingredients are fresh. They do not use fake eggs like most places do. This is a hidden gem for sure. The place does not look like much from the inside but the cooks are super welcoming and always happy to make your food.“
