Excellent. Been here twice now, and its just like the restaurants on the streets of Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini. I highly recomment trying Greece first if you can, but if not, El Greco is a great 2nd choice ;)“

“Just went here for lunch with a group of friends and it was outstanding! The food was superb, the owners/servers super friendly, and the space is very airy and inviting for such a small restaurant. One of my friends ordered almost everything on the menu for the table, and there wasn’t a bad bite on the table. Standouts included the falafel, lamb shawarma, whole fried cauliflower, and the mansaf. Tea and baklava were also delectable. I’m super excited to come back and try the few remaining things on the menu I didn’t get to sample!“

“It was not just the food which is delicious btw, but the experience that you get by visiting this small restaurant. They have small Bosnian antique corner which holds many stories. “What a freaking gem. This spot gives off serious LA or NYC vibes right in the heart of downtown SJ. The decor alone deserves a shoutout: stunning tall ceilings, gorgeous wood and metal accents, natural tones, and even a couple of olive tree centerpieces that ties it all together in a sleek, contemporary way. If you need a date night spot, try to lock in a reservation here.

The elevator bar is probably one of the most unique features I've ever seen, shuttling bottles of liquor from the downstairs bar to the loft bar. The loft area wasn't open yet, but I could already picture it being the perfect place to pre-game and soak in the energy from the restaurant below.

The food is dialed in. New American with a Mediterranean twist. The open kitchen concept is a nice touch, letting you watch your dishes as they're being prepared. Highly recommend ordering family style to share. The octopus is an absolute must--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The lobster pasta was decadent - pricey, but you get huge chunks of lobster that makes it worthwhile. We also ordered the monster ribeye topped with some insane butter, cooked medium rare. If you have a group of 4 or more, do it.

The drinks were fantastic, though more subdued in flavor compared to their other concepts like Paper Plane or Mini Boss. I'd recommend dinner at Eos & Nyx, then cap off the night with a cocktail at one of their other bars.

This is a game-changer for downtown SJ. It really reminded me of Bavel in downtown LA, one of my favorite restaurants ever. Excited to see this place finally open!“

We ordered the bowl was falafel and greens, and dill yogurt, and a side of citrus vinaigrette.

We also ordered a plate of sirloin steak with kale and walnut and cranberry salad, and Tabouli

We loved the kale salad, even though my wife asked me to say that she’s not a fan of kale!

Lastly, we ordered a side of fries

We ate every single bit every crumb every drop and it was perfect for two. Fabulous! Really fabulous!!“

“What a gem and food was so generous and good quality! Owner Jonathan and staff are amazing! Treat you like family even tho it was my first visit. Offered to let me try so many small sides on the house just so I could try more items on the menu. It wasn’t until my most recent experience where I began to think “could Larry be the owner” of this store? I wasn’t sure if this was a chain or not, I just love the cuisine. I must say, when I come to this store, I used to say “I wonder if my friend is there today” when i can now say “I wonder if Larry is there?” As a small business owner, I know value! And if I could afford Larry, I would hire him! I know the max is a five star review, but I’ve always felt Larry deserved every bit of a higher score. For those who have ever gone into an establishment and felt expertise that was underpriced vs. the service level given, you’d know what I mean. Beef, chicken or lamb prepared cubed or ground. My goto is the lamb chili kabobs served with rice and cucumber salad. My wife really liked their burger and fries. They also have roast chicken which is a good take home option.“

Since it was my first time, I ordered the six side dish sampler and every single one was phenomenal. The hummus is a garlicky herbed slice of heaven. The baba ghanoush is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. Then there was an eggplant dish with maple syrup and pomegranate seeds that just explodes with deliciousness. I had the beet salad with goat cheese and it's just delightful. Since I was alone, I was limited as to how many items I could try, but I cannot wait to come back with my family and order up a storm! “We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. “So here’s the thing, the location or restaurant is nothing to rave about BUT it’s a hidden gem and quite frankly I don’t understand the negative reviews.

The service was good and I have no complaints about it because the lady was hospitable.

The food is excellent in my opinion. I ordered the gorgan chicken and koobideh kebab and rice and it was wonderful. The seasoning and flavor on both kebabs was perfect and paired with the mast-khair it just was harmony.

My only criticism is the kashk bademjan but I am willing to overlook that because the entree was awesome.

I've been meaning to find good schwarma and honestly thought Falaffel Stop was a 10/10. Meatfactory is an 11/10.

Gadi has mastered the spices and herbs to a level I thought wasn't possible. I made sure to grab a 2nd order because I felt so bad eating something so good without my wife.
