“What a delightful find while I was visiting the area. It might look like a dive bar from the outside, but inside there’s a chill cozy vibe, warm and attentive service, and delicious food! I got the jumbo burrito with pork chile verde, rice, beans, and guacamole inside and wet (salsa and melted cheese) on the outside, and omg it was so flavorful and filling! A well-prepared skinny margarita with tajin rim rounded out the meal. Check it out if you’re in the area!“

“I got the ceviche tostadas to go. They give you 2 in the order. It was A very good portion of some of the best I've ever had. They kept the shells separate as to keep them from getting soggy which was great cause I've ordered elsewhere and that wasn't the case. The shrimp was cool which is good for shrimp and they even give you lime and some chopped mango on the side...I will definitely be going back if I stay longer in Santa Clorita. As far as the restaurant...The place was small and some high school kids were hanging out there. It wasn't packed but it's a small place. There weren't a lot of people but only because there are restaurants everywhere it seems. How do you choose? I chose this place cause it had good ratings and said it was authentic Mexican and that the fish was fresh at a good price. And it was and the girl who took my order and made my food was very nice... she just seemed really busy.

“Really good grilled chicken, decent portion sizes too. The tortillas are homemade, and it shows, they are delicious. The price is really good considering how much food they give you. I ordered over the phone for pickup, and it was ready right as I got there. Friendly staff as well. I'll definitely be coming back in the future.“

“This place has been our Taco Tuesday stop for years. Reason why we keep coming is the food and great prices specially on Tuesday.
After our early ride, we stopped for Breakfast Burritos. These are Burritos but Mules. They are big and the food doesn't lose the quality.
The people taking the order have always been very friendly. Again, we keep coming back. The beer is a little overpriced but the food makes it worth it. We will keep coming back“

Hubby had the bistec ranchera, which has onions and bell peppers in a tomato based sauce… hubby loved it so much he couldn’t stop talking about how yummy it was, on purpose way home. The corn tortillas are homemade as well as the chips. The salsa bar is excellent with pico de gallo and great tasting red & green salsas, the avocado salsa was excellent. The flavors were wonderful. “Delicious tamales y champurrado. Sometimes they have champurrado de guallaba or chocolate. I prefer their champurrado de guayaba.They make delicious beef, pork, cheese, elote and pinaple tamales. Menudo only on the weekends. You'll find Mexican candy and raspados too. You need to call early to place your order. Bring cash. Parking is hard to find on the weekend. Is a hole on wall that will pleasantly surprise you if you enjoy Mexican products.“

“the place was not bad. i had 3 tacos, asada, cabeza, & tripa which was my least favorite. the small agua frescas are a decent size for the price but the menu says $3.00 & when she rung me up it was $3.50. i had the horchata which was a little too sweet for me. they have a card transaction fee of only .35¢. another thing i didn’t like was that they didn’t mention the tripa was also .50¢ extra which is not much but it’s not advertised. parking is garbage!! i’d place the order in advanced to pick it up but the food was good overall.“

It was my husband and kids first time at this place and we left definitely satisfied with everything from the beginning to end. Great service from management and staff. Great environment. This is a little gem, it is a perfect restaurant for the area. Food was delicious, authentic and atmosphere was comfortable. The service was kind and gracious. Stop and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

If you're looking for a solid Mexican place, El Tarrasco Restaurant hits the mark especially if you love great margaritas and flavorful appetizers. From the moment we walked in, (Been there twice) the service stood out. A friendly lady greeted us at the door, and although it was a Dodgers night with the game on, the place wasn’t too crowded just a chill, welcoming vibe.

I am a returned customer I went fornthe first time few a years ago, and I’m glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. I was seriously craving taquitos dorados, and they did not disappoint. Crispy, tasty, and perfectly plated, served with rice and beans and a pinch of avocado on top of the taquitos. Just perfect.

One thing I have to emphasize, was that they make the best salsa fresh, bold, and just the right kick not too hot, just perfect. Can’t wait to go back again! We paid 70+ for a serving for 4 people, I took 2 extra small sides of rice and beans, and left a modest tip.“
