⭐️A HUGE selection of pastries, sandwiches, breakfast, sweet treats and more! I got an Italian sandwich, a shrimp artichoke salad (delishhhh!), and a lovely mini pumpkin cheesecake. ⭐️
We are definitely going back here this trip! Parking is somewhat difficult to find, would recommend parking around the block.“

The bottom is still hard holding up the Vege covered pizza! I’m obsessed w them. Little pricey but worth it as a treat. Cheese is great too! Always polite and cool people working too. More people need to know about them!“

We ate there two nights in a row, and I’m delighted to say the food was consistently good both nights. \n\nThe food was bright, prepared with care, fresh, flavorful and well-balanced. This was no gloppy, sloppy imitation of Thai flavors. It is mindfully prepared, honoring the fresh ingredients. \n\nThere are several duck dishes on the menu and I went full duck each night. The duck larb was slices of roasted duck dressed with a delicious, balanced dressing of lime juice, fish sauce, roasted rice powder and aromatics, and served with vibrant fresh slices of red onion and sweet seasonal tomatoes. \n\nThe duck noodle soup was equally carefully constructed. A delicious clear broth, slices of that succulent duck, brilliant green baby spinach leaves, green onion, and fine wheat noodles. \n\nThis is new ownership only a few months old, so ignore earlier reviews of a different team. The place is itself is kind of funky and it’s right on the beach. There are 2 tables that look out on the charming Capitola beach. \n\nThe staff are friendly and helpful. “I was looking for a quick bite since I work near by. The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly. I went with the breakfast burrito, it was so good! Full of flavor and I got it with bacon. It had fresh onion and tomatoes and potatoes. It was a bit on the small side but definitely delicious, will definitely be going back to try more“

“I was riding my motorcycle from my dr appt in San Jose back to Monterey, and stopped here to stretch my legs. The banh mi thit heo was awesome. I took half home to my wife so she could see how good it tastes—we haven’t found any restaurants around Monterey area that serve good banh mi, so we’re going to be coming back.“

“We live just up the street and finally came in for the first time. My Son and I had the chicken pesto and the chicken apple Brie Sandos. Food was BOMB delicious. The vibe is super family oriented and welcoming. The spot is super quaint and comfortable. The staff is so friendly, u know ur neighbors.“

“GUYSSSSSS after being abandoned by the universe and vehicular misfortune, Olive herself, the god of the garden, extended her arms of fettuccine warmly by providing the most decadent of feasts i’ve ever laid my mouth on. the breadsticks were as warm as a hug i wish my mother would give me and the Alfredo sauce dripped down my gullet with gusto by the ancient italian spirit. we took refuge in the care of our most beloved waiter, jose, who offered us refills a plenty of our delicious raspberry lemonade, soup, and breadstick. #highlyrecomend“

“This is some of the best food my family and I have ever had! Super fresh and delicious! My boys got the pad Thai spice level zero and it was some of the most flavorful and delicious pad Thai we’ve ever had. My husband got the yellow curry spice level one. I got spice level two on my green curry and it was still clearing out our sinuses so just be aware of that when choosing a spice level. I like spicy, but 2 or 3 would be plenty spicy for me. Both amazing! We also all loved the vegetable soup. The broth was so yummy and veggies seemed freshly blanched/not mushy texture…just pure perfection. Wish I could eat here more often!“

“The Al Pastor was dry, I like it aged and dry, not sweet. The tacos were large and with thinly sliced fresh cabbage, tomatoes and beans. The waitstaff was excellent and the chair was comfortable. I am disappointed they didn’t have taquitos and I did not see sides of rice and beans offered on the menu. ?“

“I stumbled onto this spot while on a work trip. It was lunch time and I was in the mood for a nice sandwich. So I decided to give this place a try. Right when I walked in I noticed how clean the place was, which I appreciate greatly. They had just opened so I was the only customer. I placed my ordered at the counter. Their menu has so many great sounding sandwiches. But I decided to go the REO Speedwagon and a side house salad. Along with an iced tea. I sat down at a booth and my food arrived shortly after. The sandwich had a nice helping of quality meats, fresh produce and the sour dough bread was perfection. The salad was also very good and the perfect size. Overall everything tasted great and at a reasonable price. The staff were all friendly and provided prompt service. I will definitely come here again when I’m in the area.“

“I never write reviews for places but this chilis deserves one. I don’t come here too often but when i do come here my experience is a 10/10. Our waiter who has served us the last few times- his name is Sam, is truly an angel on earth. He is so kind, patient, and his customer service is among the best i’ve seen in any restaurant. He was so kind to my partner and I and he helped us so much by answering any questions we had and having just a super helpful and caring attitude. In regards to the food, also 10/10. The cooks deserve some serious appreciation because for the first time in a long time I was trying to eat past full because it was so good haha. The atmosphere here is also super nice, the music isn’t too loud and there’s lots of open natural light. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!“
