“Just happened on this place by doing map search for restaurants while in Watsonville. It was magical! Beautiful buildings & gardens. We are on the heated patio & just loved it. Excellent food: ribeye, & steak & lobster. Delish wedge salad too. Took the dessert home & enjoyed that too; the accompanying ice cream was the best. Very lovely experience.“

“Fun, bustling, cafateria style bakery, (with a huge selection of bakery items) coffee and breafast spot. Pricey, which is expected in this local. Pastries were Excellent. Had the enchilada. It was very good. An 8.5/10 for my palet. Coffee was very good. Not Great. Would definitely drop in again when visiting.“

“My Thai is under new management/owners, a husband and wife team and they are amazing! They are both friendly and fun and really know how to cook.

We ordered the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai with crispy chicken and both were DELICIOUS!!! We had a long pause in conversation cause the food was so good. Then we had mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream for desert, it was perfect. Also plating was lovely and we didn’t wait long for our food.

I can’t wait to go back and I’m so happy to have an incredible Thai restaurant in the neighborhood!

I took half home to my wife so she could see how good it tastes—we haven’t found any restaurants around Monterey area that serve good banh mi, so we’re going to be coming back.“

It is a small restaurant which makes for nice ambience. I had the linguine and clams and the sauce was spot on! Also a great number of clams to go with it. The Tiramisu oh my it was heaven on earth! You can not go wrong here probably the best Italian food in Santa Cruz County.“

“I recently moved to the area and decided to stop by for a light lunch to sample the food. I ordered the fresh rolls and the veggie soup. The peanut sauce that accompanied the fresh rolls was delicious. However, the soup was quite lacking in tofu and vegetables, as it was mostly broth. Flavors were good, so I would definitely come back for dinner, but would not get the soup again.“

“The Al Pastor was dry, I like it aged and dry, not sweet. The tacos were large and with thinly sliced fresh cabbage, tomatoes and beans. The waitstaff was excellent and the chair was comfortable. “I stumbled onto this spot while on a work trip. It was lunch time and I was in the mood for a nice sandwich. So I decided to give this place a try. Right when I walked in I noticed how clean the place was, which I appreciate greatly. They had just opened so I was the only customer. I placed my ordered at the counter. Their menu has so many great sounding sandwiches. But I decided to go the REO Speedwagon and a side house salad. Along with an iced tea. I sat down at a booth and my food arrived shortly after. The sandwich had a nice helping of quality meats, fresh produce and the sour dough bread was perfection. The salad was also very good and the perfect size. Overall everything tasted great and at a reasonable price. The staff were all friendly and provided prompt service. I will definitely come here again when I’m in the area.“

“I never write reviews for places but this chilis deserves one. I don’t come here too often but when i do come here my experience is a 10/10. Our waiter who has served us the last few times- his name is Sam, is truly an angel on earth. He is so kind, patient, and his customer service is among the best i’ve seen in any restaurant. He was so kind to my partner and I and he helped us so much by answering any questions we had and having just a super helpful and caring attitude. In regards to the food, also 10/10. The cooks deserve some serious appreciation because for the first time in a long time I was trying to eat past full because it was so good haha. The atmosphere here is also super nice, the music isn’t too loud and there’s lots of open natural light. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!“

“We tried this place because I really liked their versatile menu. We tried the squash ramen, the spicy miso ramen, and the shishito peppers. Everything had great flavor. I was really happy with the squash broth. I don’t know if it was fully vegetarian (we are not vegetarian) but it was very tasty and a nice alternative to the frequently sodium bombs of other ramen places and the kimchi is a great pop of sour spicy flavor. The spicy miso ramen had only a little heat to my palette but also tasty. Noodles are bouncy. The shishitos peppers had a lovely onion and soy sauce dressing. I am excited to go back and try the curry and Tom Yum options!“
