I was visiting Sacramento over the weekend and wanted to pick up Afghan meal plus dessert. I stopped by around 9:30pm on a Saturday evening, and I guess I got lucky. They had freshly baked baklava along with some house-recipe cookies. So glad I stopped by and will do so when I’m in the area again!“

“I told them I am fully vegan and they told me all the vegan options. I am having a delicious sandwich with vegan Dutch Crunch bread, vegan cheese, sprouts, lettuce, vegan mayo and vegan cheese and I also ordered vegan potato salad. I can't wait to come back and try more things, especially their vegan donuts! By 11:45am their donuts has arrived I went back right away and got some. Delicious vegan donuts and I got a Bear Claw with apple filling! Updated from previous review on 2025-09-26“
“I tried a New (to me) vendor today! Baklava & Coffee was set up at the Carmichael Park Farmers Market. They had a nice display of hand made traditional baklava and rose petal baklava. I took home a box of each. Both delicious! They also had Turkish coffees and gourmet teas. I hope this company does well! I look forward to buying more treats from them!“

“The staff here is absolutely above average! They are so kind and on top of everything. I'm normally here in the mornings and they go above and beyond. However, I come in the afternoon occasionally and they don't disappoint. Whoever the hiring manager is knows how to put together a great staff. Highly recommend this location.“
