“Had craving for ice cream one night, and came into this location. Ice cream was great, but I was very impressed with the service on how quick it and professional it was. I believe there was a gentleman there named Genesis (hopefully this is how you spell his name), he was on point. Very sharp, attentive to customers, and was quick to service my wife and I. By the way he approached and engaged with us, I thought he was the manager of the shop. Awesome customer service. Please extend our thanks to Genesis.“

“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“Simply a wonderful ice cream and candy store with old school charm.

With different types of frozen bananas, cookies, and, of course, house-made flavored ice cream, this is a bit of a paradise. Personalized ice cream sandwiches also adorn the menu, or a nice ice cream shake.

For the seasoned, there are also hand-packed cartons available.

Their ice cream is something special. There are seasonal flavors and your old school favorites. The cartons change often, so multiple visits are warranted.

For an ice cream lover, I would have to say there is a good balance of overrun and fat content. The structure has a good, solid mouth feel without too much compactness. I especially like how their chocolate flavors give a sense of cocoa and not just commercial sugary chocolate. Seasonal flavors also fall in line with the same attention to detail.

Stay away from corporate-run chains and give your love for a cold treat to folks who have a passion for it.“

“I have been going to this bakery for many years...about 30 years but not sure if it's the same family. They have always had delicious Mexican bread, pastries, and cakes...now they have added tamales (if you're lucky enough to get them). Great for a quick trip when you need milk or eggs, but you get to treat yourself too.“

In our exchange, I saw all the beautiful sweets and goodies she makes and she was so generous as to send me a cake to try! Even though it came from all the across the US, her bundt cake was so soft, and so moist, and the flavor was just so right, that the cake didn't survive the photo I planned to take of it, because by then it had been eaten lol. “I love buying custom cakes frm Maggy. She is always very detailed, easy to talk to and makes the best cakes. Everyone loves them,she did my daughters birthday cake and I called her last minute. She went beyond my expectations for sure. She made another amazing cake which was yellow cake with Chocolate Ganache. As you can see we have enjoyed the cake. “The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.

Food: Tasty cupcakes with a slightly higher price tag. ATM them at 4AM if you need a cupcake fix. I got the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake which was good but a little too sugary. Need to try others to really make a final verdict.

Service: Great service from the employees and there is a self service ATM for cupcakes so it is 24/7 cupcakes if you need them.

Ambiance: It is a fun little shop that is straight to the point… getting a cupcake. This is a fun stop for a desert after getting a meal in the Manhattan Village.“

“this past weekend i came to coldstone and it was my very first time, and a beautiful sweet young lady named nicole helped me out, she was so understanding, and allowed me to sample whatever i wanted and walked me through all the signatures, i felt so bad because we spent like 10 minutes discussing the signatures but she was super patient and super kind, i went with a got to have it “cheesecake fantasy” but i replaced the ice cream for mint, and the blue berries and strawberries for brownies and chocolate chips, if you ever visit, i 10/10 recommend!!! we were making small talk as she made my ice cream and she honestly felt like my daughter! she was so kind, seeing a young lady so energetic was so refreshing. if management is reading this, she’s a keeper!!! never let her go!!! if you stop by coldstone, ask for nicole, she will provide the best customer service you have ever experienced!!“

Due to an issue at a different bakery losing my order form, I suddenly found myself completely cake-less just two hours before my party was due to start. I was anxious and distressed, and not sure how to fix it.
The cake flavor I needed (lemon) is less common and hard to find. Thank goodness for SusieCakes! Not only did they have delicious lemon cakes in-stock and ready to go, but they were also able to add custom writing on top and even some rainbow confetti sprinkles. The ladies I spoke with were so kind and accommodating and they really helped me feel better. The cake tasted fantastic as well! Thank you, SusieCakes, for saving my party!“
