“The chicken gyro bowl here was super good. The food came out really fast and the fries were super fresh. Everything in the bowl was really good, fresh ingredients, and hot. It was the perfect amount of food and the packaging was so cute. We had a miscommunication about the student discount, but the owner reached out to me and was super kind about it. The chicken shawarma and beef lamb are very appetizing and delicious. His staff always is very accurate with portion size and never overcooks the food. It is so tasty that you want to go back the next day for dinner again. His staff is friendly, helpful, and quick with their service, and the food is presented beautifully with accuracy in what is ordered. Lastly, the dining area is very clean, well-lit, spacious, and organized to serve customers at any time of the day. The bathrooms are sparkling clean every time we use it.

“We ordered the combination shawarma plate. Food tastes great and well balanced as it came with a generous servings of meat along with the flavorful steamed rice, salad and pita bread with hummus. Their mango lassi is so good, not overwhelmingly sweet. Our lady server was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. Overall the restaurant ambience very nice, clean and quiet. “Amazing service and delicious food! Added chicken to my seasonal vegetable kabob. It was perfect! Tender, flavorful and truly a delight. The cocktail was well balanced and complimented my meal perfectly.
Salad was not as well balanced as I like but that’s a small complaint. Service was exceptional, Edward was an outstanding.

“I came here to try their Quesabirria tacos and let me tell you they hit. They had a good amount of meat in them and well seasoned and their hot sauce made sweat but it wasn’t over spicy. Dipping the tacos in that consome was so good. I’ll definitely get these again and now I want to come back and try other food items. “Falafel corner is a great spot to grab a quick lunch . Be aware that Its not on the corner it's in the middle of the block . The shape of the falafels here is unique , they are not balls but more like small pattys . The falafel is always hot and very fresh . Crispy on the outside and a fresh green look on the inside . The tahini sauce and the hot sauce they use are very tasty ,and the veggies are always crisp and fresh . The staff is alwAys friendly .They have good prices . I would recommend this place for a delicious and affordable meal“

“Nick the Greek is always a spot that's fairly consistent across all of their locations (at least the ones I've been to). It was nice to be greeted when I walked in and the cashier had welcomed me in with a smile. It's been a while since someone welcomed me or my friends into a restaurant with a smile, so this was appreciated. This location also had plenty of seats and since I went during lunch, I could really sit anywhere.“

“Recently, we had family over and decided to oder from The Great Greek in San Ramon. The total order was over $350. I had some specific requests for my order and called the restaurant directly to make sure they knew exactly what I was trying to order.
The young man who that took my order was patient, attentive and understood what I wanted. The order was prepared exactly as I had requested. The meats and shrimp cooked just right and the rest of the order was perfect. I have to praise the person who took my order and the cook that prepared the meal. Everything went smoothly and one of them even helped me to bring my order to the car. This is not the first time I ordered or dined at The Great Greek and certainly recommended the restaurant to anyone who wants to experience Greek food, it's great. Thank you!“

“From the minute I walked through the door I was greeted by Tina Rhae with a big smile. There were a lot of great items to choose from and specials. I got a hibiscus iced tea and the linguisa sandwich. They were both delicious! They have plenty of indoor and outdoor tables so there was room to move around if you have a wheelchair. A perfect spot for large groups of people too.“

“Nick the Greek is tucked away in the Whole Foods Mowry Plaza and has good food for the price (4.4/5). Their falafel is fried nicely, and is soft on the inside. Put into a gyro bowl it all comes together well. However their garlic fries were a little soggy. The service staff is fast and attentive, and our waiter Vannya was helpful (4.4/5).“

“I will say, this food changed my life! I had never had Afghani food before and this was such a good introduction to the food! I loved everything I ate. What I don't like so much is that is that it's cash only and the plates are quite pricey. When we handed over the cash we didn't get the remainder back- he just automatically took what was left over and put it in the tip jar with out asking. I was going to take my change (some dollars and coins?) and leave a bigger tip but since they just kept it with out asking we just left it at that.“
