“I don’t get why there’s so much hate, the food is really yummy! Food is on the pricier side, but most dishes have generous portions. I’ve come many times for dim sum and also for dinner service. The okra and steak cube dish is addicting, it’s soooo good. I understand service can be a hit or miss, but give some grace… the service is overall not bad given the scale and busyness of the place!“

“I tried Tides for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Had the oysters, steak skewers, crab cakes and sea bass. The food was very good, although the steak skewers and crab cakes were only moderately warm upon arrival. Sea bass was excellent; but definitely could have been bigger for the price point. Oysters were on point and excellent as well. Amazing service by the waiter as well as well as the hostess. The birthday card and complimentary dessert were a nice touch. Upscale, trendy interior. Will be back!“

“Just went on Wednesday as I was passing through. I didn’t realize that they were open do to the farmers market being right there as well. Went inside and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was very good. I will definitely be back.“

“I bought the oyster combo with DoorDash and I absolutely loved the deep fried oysters. The fried breading was very tasty and the oysters tasted like they were cooked just right.

I chose potato salad for the side, I liked it, however, I do not know if they make it fresh.

The combo also comes with a Shasta brand soda, but cola and lemon lime are the only offered flavors.

I definitely want to order from here again.“

I also ordered a taco. When I saw how many ingredients were piled up on that taco and saw how the only way he could close that taco was to envelope it in aluminum foil I was amazed. But then when I picked up my bag containing one burrito and one taco I swear it was a couple of pounds! The burrito was huge! And delicious! And the person taking my order and the person making the orders were very pleasant. I will definitely be back many times.“

“I only gave it a 4 because depending on the time you order, the shrimp is either perfectly cooked and fresh or black. But the flovor of the sauce is delicious. Same with the eggs if you order when they just open there good, but later in the day, they look overcooked.“

“They’re reliable! Been going here for about 8 years now. It seems to be ran by a Chinese couple there, very kind folk. Always a smile on their face when I see them. It’s a super no-frills hole-in-the-wall call—ahead type dealio. Our regular items are:

1. Beef chow mein
2. Beef or house chow fun
3. Fried Rice
4. Beef and Brocolli
5. Sweet and sour pork
6. Fried pork wontons
7. Shrimp egg foo young - recent pick-up

& some refrigerated Dr. Pepper cans! Call ahead about 15-20 minutes and they’re always pretty good about getting done by then. Sometimes I wait a little extra but it’s because they’re a bit busy for dinner time.“
