“BJ the owner is very nice. The pizza is awesome. We have had the garlic chicken and the 11 toppings. Both are very good. The pizza crust is soft and warm but crispy on the bottom. Service is usually pretty quick. Definitely a great pizza and happy to support a local business.“

Restaurant is loud and noisy, we couldn't hear each other conversation on the same table without yelling. I am gonna hold off making any cozy dinner rsvp with fiends until this get fixed. “Peanut sauce as usual was fantastic (with fresh vegetable rolls). Brussels sprouts were yummy. The only low point was the lamb chops. They were tiny and you only got 3 and they were charred. Everything else got hobbled up and the presentation, as usual, was stunning!“

“Nice selection of ciders and very friendly owners with a small but inviting taproom. We've had their Honey Sage, Peach & Lemon Verbena, and Hibiscus Mint at other local breweries and really enjoyed them, so decided to stop in upon learning that they had a taproom. We got a flight of their Puns n Roses, Zin, Ginger Peppercorn, Arkansas Black, Nehou Normal, and Jonathan, of which we liked the first two. Also got a bottle to go of their Coffee Chaff and Bourbon Barrel, which was very different from any of the other ciders we tried. We had a good time and look forward to coming back!“

“Flight delayed equals wine flights. Am I right? Yep, our flight was delayed by a ton in terminal one. So we decided to check Vino Volo out. We tried the red and white wine flights. I love how they have this option. It's great for indecisive people like me. Had to enjoy some meats and cheese of course. Our server was awesome and attentive. Such a great way to end a beautiful weekend. Ambiance is obviously loud af.“
“We were looking for a coffee and decided to stop here to try the brunch. The food was deliciously amazing, it was a special prix fixe menu for Easter. Service is great. One thing I'd like to see improving is the tables outside; with such amazing dishes, it is below expectations to have these tables that take so much dirt. Either change the tables or put table cloth please.“
“My husband and I spent our birthday dinner here in the Victorian house basement of this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. We ordered the chicken entree and the steak. “Excellent service and food. I had some with capers and a lemon sauce. Yummy! And since I can't eat dairy, they cooked it with olive oil. That's never been offered anywhere else. Mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes very good. Most restaurants undercook the carrots in mixed vegetables --they don't care that carrots take longer. But Il Porcino gets it right. Portions are just right. Great service and nice to have owner serve us. My husband loved his lamb chops too.“
“We had our Easter meal here, and it was fantastic. This was our third time, and every time we have been there the food has been outstanding. We ordered from the prix fix menu made especially for Easter for $65 per person. Find the menu below. Every item we had was amazing, and the portions were quite large. I have had all of those foods before but nowhere near as good. The best part, though, was Andrea. When we mentioned we were heading to Italy soon and asked how to pronounce "Grazie", he actually sat down with us and gave us some phrases to say, tours to go on and what foods to order. He was awesome! I realize they are new here and have some kinks to work out, but I really believe this could be an incredible addition to our awesome town. I'm hopeful the community supports it. “I have found my new go-to favorite bottle, right here at Cordial Bottle Shop! When they first opened at the Castro Valley Marketplace, they were located in the cellar which was downstairs on the lower level. They have since moved on the main level to a smaller section, but they still have a wonderful array of curated beverages customers can browse through. My new found fave is their 'Love You Bunches' from Santa Barbara, it is one of their only orange wines they have on the floor. Danielle was very helpful and personable, great to talk to. If you find something on the floor that you want to drink same day and it's best chilled, don't hesitate to ask if they have one that is in their fridge. They have a few high tables on the perimeter of their wine displays, they're used for their wine tasting events that occur Wednesdays 5pm-7pm $15 and Saturdays complimentary tastings from 5pm-7pm. A wine club is also available to be a part of - $54 / mo. for 2 curated bottles they'll select and provide notes for you. Wine isn't your thing? They also have other spirits, beers, and liquor available.“
