“If you like dim sum - here is a place for you ! They serve dim sum all day long unlike some other places dim sum is served before 2 pm. In addition to dim sum, they do have some dinner dishes under ‘chef’s recommendation’. We ordered eggplants in garlic sauce - it was really good! Their dim sum is good with fresh ingredients !“

“What an amazing experience overall.
We made a reservation on a Wednesday night (highly recommended in advance because they get very busy). The check in process was smooth, easy, and very quick. We were at our table within 5 minutes.
As soon as we got to our table, we had the MOST friendly server who helped us choose what food to decide on and what pairs best with what.
My food ratings:
- Chicken Xiao Long Bao: 10/10, the soup in them were outstanding. Perfect temperature and so much flavor (definitely dip in the ginger, soy and vinegar sauce).
- Chicken Fried Noodles: 7/10, they were not bad but not amazing. The flavor was not there. Probably would not order for a second time.
- Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin: 9/10, this was soooo good. They don’t give you a big portion for the price but honestly it was worth it. The meat, veggies and sauce had so much flavor and cooked perfectly.
- Chocolate and Mochi Xiao Long Bao: 1000/10, absolutely perfect, no questions asked, you better order this or there is no reason for you to be there. This dessert was the best we’ve ever had. The buns were warm with chocolate and mochi hot filling and melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend pairing it with the sea salt cream (it gives it a sweet and salty taste).
Drinks:
- Pear Lychee Martini: sooo good and sweet. this is one of their most ordered drinks and now I know why. worth the purchase!!!!
- Lager: first time trying a lager and it was very good!“

“First visit with a friend who has been there multiple times and is one of her favorites. Ordered Walnut Shrimp, MaPo Tofu, Sautéed Eggplant, "A" Vegetable, Hot Chili Pepper Whole Fish. All dishes were delicious. My only disappointment was the amount of fish ratio to the price. Extensive menu and looking forward to returning to try other dishes.“

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

“To be honest, I was confused. I've studied past reviews and prepared myself well before visiting, only to find that the restaurant had a new menu, which was much shorter than what was previously posted, and the food that I was looking forward to try wasn't there anymore. Perhaps the cafe had a change of management, but I was willing to give it a try.We ordered the Bun Bo Hue and beef oxtail soup, considering that it was a rainy day in LA, and I wanted something to warm myself before bedtime. The two soup bowls came covered with saran wraps, and judging from the temperature, they had just been heated separately (the Bun Bo Hue was hot, while the oxtail soup was a bit lukewarm). I had to grab my own utensils and napkins from a different counter, as the tables in the cafe were devoid of any articles. The flavours were on the right notes. The Bun Bo Hue had a mild kick, and the noodles were a great feature of the dish. The dish came with a small cup of kimchi, but it was nothing to write about. The oxtail soup was great, the soup was refreshing and subtle, and the oxtails were tender. My only complaint was that I wished mine came in warmer. All in all, I'd come again for the food, either to savour the soups, or perhaps try other dishes, though there is more to a great dining experience than just good food.“

“The best dumplings!! I had The Fried Chicken (6 Pieces) at Down Town Disney. Try these yummy dumplings filled with Seasoned Chicken, Pepper Jack Cheese-filled dumplings, battered and crusted with corn flakes. Deep-fried and served with jalapenos & a side of spicy cilantro mayonnaise. You will not regret it. Good luck to the owners just amazing food on wheels.“

“Classic looking dim sum place with chaotic service.
Dim sum dishes start at $5 and can increase to $9 really quickly if you're not careful of the size chart they point out at the top of the menu.
Be aggressive with getting attention from staff and make sure you're asking for everything in one shot. This will either work in your favor or you will have to find someone else to bring you what the other forgot about.
Nothing entirely wrong if you're not familiar with that kind of dining experience but definitely bring someone that isn't anxious about acting like you're at a hole in the wall.
All that to point out that the aesthetics outplay the service. It's still a very old school style restaurant.
As of Aug 2024 your best value dish to order for 2-3 people will be the 22.99 lobster special. It's about 2 pounds of lobster with options for sauce and noodles.
Overall, dishes were good and they try to crank out the siu mai as quickly as they can before running out but if you're waiting a bit for it then it just means you're getting one fresh off the steamer.“

“We have been going to the seafood House for over 25 years. The food is excellent and the service is great. It's one of the best dimsum restaurants in Southern California.
Parking: We have always been able to find parking at different times of the day.
Kid-friendliness: We have been taking our grandkids for over 20 years, and we still take them today!“

“Walked in solo at 10:10am super hungry and left with a satisfied belly. I was the first customer and I have not seen this place empty before so it was very quiet. I ordered juicy pork dumplings, Chinese broccoli for dine in and yang chow fried rice take out. Food was delicious, servers were very nice and attentive.“

“This spot was recommended to me from a friend whose opinion I trust, and boy, did he come through with a good one! This is very authentic Chinese food. On this day, we were on the hunt for dim sum, so we decided to pop in. They have cart service and two different carts with varieties of food. There's a cart with fried and baked items and veggies. The other cart is loaded down with steamed items. Warning to folks that are new to dim sum, go slow, and treat this like a marathon. Otherwise, your eyes will be much larger than your stomach, and you'll order too much. Select boldy and try things you might never think you'd like. The food is quality, so there are lots of options for everyone. If you have dietary restrictions, there are a lot of options, just be sure to ask the servers. We enjoyed more fried than steamed items this visit. The big surprise to me was they have a very large menu and dim sum isn't even on it! We'll be back to try the soups, chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp dishes. What a gem! Highly recommend.“

“We’ve been coming here since 1999, and it’s still one of our favorite spots. The food is always great, and Danny is always happy to see us—he makes every visit feel like coming home. We also really love the recent remodeling and are excited about the new owner. It’s wonderful to see this place continue to thrive while keeping the same welcoming spirit we’ve always enjoyed.“
