“The couple that run this place are so kind and good at what they do. The food is amazing here and well priced. They have a great daily special for$9.50 as of 11/2025 that includes 2pc of fish, 3pcs fried zuchinni, cup of very good coleslaw and a healthy portion of fries. The batter on the fish and zuchinni is light and airy, very crispy and exactly what you crave when thinking of fish and chips! They have a great tartar sauce and malt vinegar to go with it. The one thing I really appreciate about this place is they automatically bring you everything you need to dress up your plate when eating in. A great place overall that just hits the nail on the head!!“

This is the best fish and chip left in all of Southern california, with the best most competitive price and a nice quaint restaurant.

I have probably come back here 10-15 times ever since I've written this review - and it only keeps getting better.
If you want to take someone to the best fish and chips in the city, bring them here. This place cannot be beat.

They have many other things including hush puppies and chicken fingers, but they make the MOST AUTHENTIC ENGLISH fish and chip in the entire Los Angeles area.

“Placed an order online for pick up, parking is a little tricky due to a lot of 7 Eleven traffic but i drove around once and it cleared up quick, be patient. I ordered the 10 wing with a side. The wings were well cooked, I like my wings crispy. Flavor was the Honey pepper garlic, it was pretty good. The onion rings have alot of batter they taste so good. The combo came with a soda and two ranch. Will be recommending this place to everyone.“

“We were recommended to this place by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted, asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we needed a coyote of minutes, but the gentleman said no problem, but answered some questions we had. We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. The potato wedges were good, very hot as well. We will be back! Good value for what you get!“

“Definitely worth coming here for the food but for better service and overall experience, I'd recommend going to the Buena Park location which is in the mall across the street from Knott's Berry Farm.
Here at the Long Beach location, we had to wait almost an hour to be seated and our food took forever as well. Then once we had gotten our food, they never came to check up on us and I kept having to flag down our waiter for my family's needs. But the food was really really good. 10/10.“

“Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. “I stopped by Maggie’s Pub & Banquet Hall and it feels like a classic neighborhood pub with a lot more space than you’d expect. The place is pretty big, with a large bar area and a separate banquet hall that’s often used for parties and events. “There isn’t enough good things to say about this place! The cashier is such a sweet woman and the chef, Rumpo was also super kind! The prices are good and the food is even better. Their fresh cajun-style chicken and fried shrimp are my go-to but their wings are so savory and delicious! I will continue to support this business, highly recommended!“

“This was really a great experience. The burgers were thicker than any typical theme park burger. The burger was prepared perfectly, with care. This was not another one of many burgers slapped on a grill an cooked en masse. The chicken sandwich was also very taste and prepared just right. This meal was a real treat. The gentleman taking our order was very cheerful and engaged. We spoke briefly with the chef while he was wrapping up our order. He was engaging and fun also. After our delicious meal I walked back up to tell them how pleased we were! A great spot!“

“ALWAYS CHECK your pick up order. Almost every time we order to go there's something missing, an item is wrong, and your condiments aren't correct. We just did a pick up and got a taco we didn't order, that we returned. The condiments were incorrect. The food is good but they need to work on their pick up order system.“

“Weird vibe between self serve and sit down dining. The foods good but the concept is odd. You order yourself on a touch screen then they call it your name for pickup. But it gets loud and you have to huddle around the pickup station. Tables and chairs are hard. Staff was friendly and on top of cleanliness.“
