“Big Chico Burger is officially my favorite burger spot in town. With endless options for customization (burger size, cook temp, grilled toppings, fresh toppings, and sauces) there's something here for everyone. Order time and prices do not align with fast food, because it's not fast food. You're getting grilled to order, all natural, California-grown, certified black angus beef on an artisan-style bun from local bakers. Last night, we ordered two 1/3 lb cheddar cheeseburgers, one 1/3 lb mushroom swiss cheeseburger, the Big Chico Platter (fries, seasoned fries, and onion rings), and 3 fountain beverages. It was ~$60 with tip. It was an all-lady crew last night, and they were working their tails off while still making time for friendly conversation. Aside from leaving with a full belly, I also left feeling like I had had a memorable customer encounter. We've definitely worked our way through burgers around town (Burgers & Brew, The Ranch Hand, etc.) and aside from a very different but equally as delicious burger experience from 5th Street Steakhouse, Big Chico Burger is a standout. They stay busy for a reason!“

“Fresh twisted cafe is an interesting place. They have lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. We got a burger and were disappointed with the 1/4 lb patty on a 17$ burger. I was also bummed that a place that advertises gluten free has breaded fries only.
My cappuccino was great, and my wife loved her turmeric juice.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the menu setup was a bit eclectic.

“So this is the best sandwich joint in Chico, possibly in the whole of the North Valley. Every sandwich I’ve had there (third time going in) has been a masterpiece. Service is, at times, chilly. But think of it as a place back East where no one is gonna hold your hand, and it’ll make perfect sense. “This is a new place that just opened. Drive by a couple time and haven't tired it out. When my son brought half of a Santa Barbara char home because he was saving it for dinner, I end up eating it because it was packed with avocado and I just had to try it. OMG, it was amazed. My original plan was to take only one bite but, instead I took 4. Don't worry I still left 2 1/2 bite for him..Lmao My husband took me there that same week because of how much I was praising. We went there once by ourself and went again the second time the following week for my 3 son go away college gathering. But will definitely will go again. Theirs alot of burgers you can choose from and also comes in families meals deals. I loved the unlimited pickled peppers. The burgers are fat and juicy and it make you think that you got it from a expensive restaurant. Fries are a good amount and they are fresh. Place is clean and has a good view.“

“New location in the parking lot of Spike's Bottle Shop(1270 East First Street at the intersection of Village Lane, caddy corner from In Motion Fitness). Hence the three stars for atmosphere. It is just a liquor store parking lot, but what food truck has nice atmosphere? None I have ever been to.Great food with reasonable prices.I like everything I have tried, which is most of the menu. My go-to is the chicken wrap. The gyro quesadilla is really good, too. It is listed as an appetizer, but it is a large and filling quesadilla.The burgers are also very good, but they have a Mediterranean flavor, so don't expect the typical taste of your standard American burger.The chicken sandwich is dark meat, which I prefer, but I think it is worth noting so people do not expect the standard white meat chicken patty.As far as I can tell, there is only one person who works there(the owner), and he makes everything fresh to order, so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. It will take 15-20 minutes(or more if you order a lot and/or they are really busy) to be ready. I see this as a plus. Most food trucks have everything premade and simply assemble ingredients instead of making it for you when ordered. I have watched him meticulously plating food with great care. It is clear he takes a lot pride in his cuisine and cares for the customer's satisfaction immensely.The owner is always very polite and friendly and has a very warm and welcoming smile.Solid Five Star food truck, and some of the best food I have had in Chico.I have recommended it to every one I work with. Several people have tried it and they all love it.Don't miss out on this gem of a food truck!
