Coffee Shops in Chilcoot Vinton, CA

“We are from Alaska. We were on our return trip driving back to Alaska. It was early in the morning and we had just skirted our way around Reno to head toward Susanville all the while searching for a coffee stop. We saw a sign on 395 for Coffee Tree Express. We were so yearning for a coffee, we took the exit. Following the signs that kept going on 70 and thinking, I hope this is worth it. 6 miles later, we came upon it. No customers were there but the Open sign was on. We parked and went in. We were greeted by a very nice barista and the most wonderful fresh roasted coffee smell. We ordered our coffee, I used the facilities and when I came out was greeted with my coffee and asked if we’d like a fresh baked blueberry scone. Of course, we happily said yes. Went to our vehicle and took a drink. It was one of the best coffees we’d ever tasted. Bit into the fresh scone and it was the best blueberry scone we’d ever had. So tender and warm and yummy. All this to say, it was so worth the 6 miles off our route from 395 and would do it again in a flash! If you ever find yourself in Vinton or in the vicinity, we highly recommend it to anyone!!!“
