“Friendly staff, fresh smoked meats, unique drinks. I got the smoked meat (pork) breakfast burrito and it was insane!! They packed so much meat and eggs into the burrito. Extremely filling. I also got the white mocha latte which was perfect during a sunny winter morning. The chilli was delicious. Loved the vibe of the place.“

“I went with my sister for a trip to Lake Tahoe and I ordered a medium iced raspberry white mocha. When I tell you the first sip I took I think I almost levitated. It wasn’t overly sweet and the espresso didn’t taste burnt. The barista was also very sweet and made my day. She attended everyone with the same amount of care and attention. I would recommend visiting here and trying what I got! The shop was also very beautifully decorated.“

“My husband and I stayed at Kings beach. We went here both Saturday and also Sunday morning for coffee & breakfast sandwiches and were greeted with smiles. The wait was not that long and both our coffee drinks were made just fine and our food tasted good... nice & hot. It made our morning enjoyable. We read all the bad reviews and were a little hesitant about going but we had no problem. It was a pleasant visit and it is a perfectly nice Starbucks inside the Safeway shopping center. We will come back again when in the area.“

“My husband and I went here for lunch and had the poke bowl, which was delicious. Would highly recommend! You order at the bar and pick your table. We ate there for lunch on a Tuesday, so I can’t speak to that always being the process. Food came out quickly and presented well!“

“A bike event on Sunday turned into a cold, rainy, windy, miserable day. We went to The Dam Cafe for hot chocolate and got so much love! The owner not only welcomed the wet, muddy riders in, she put out space heaters and wrapped us in blankets! Amazing! I was so cold and was warmed both physically and emotionally by the kindness. The food and drink where delicious. Can’t say enough good things. A little cottage of heaven in Tahoe City!“

The meat burger was perfectly done — juicy, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. My son absolutely loved the chocolate and strawberry ice cream, which was a delightful treat.

Dessert was the grand finale: the salted caramel lotus with vanilla sponge cake, caramel glaze, and cacao nib streusel was an absolute masterpiece. Each bite delivered a beautiful harmony of textures, flavors & suspense; indulgent yet refined.
