Servers (I'd name everyone but some of them are sadly gone) are always so attentive and welcoming, including the owner Jack who also acknowledges us when he is there. I outside on the patio which was nice, but I would have to say that the noise from the car is going by was a little distracting

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.”

I Sat upstairs and checked some things out on my laptop. The atmosphere was great and the people were nice. They have outside seating too, which I thought was really nice and this is kind of a cool little coffee shop. I'd come back again”

Vegetarian options: For lunch there is only two options Thali or chole bature.

“There was a 30 minute wait on a Thursday at 11:00am. It is not a very big place. They do have outdoor seating. Super friendly and helpful staff. They anticipate needs with a smile. The food is really good!

The standout - banana nana pancakes - wow these are amazing ! Piping hot deliciousness. Pancakes smothered in sliced banana and a syrupy sauce. So good you have to try and it’s huge!

The lot so great - biscuit and gravy. Biscuit not fluffy or moist. Very dry. Gravy pretty good.

Overall I would come here again and bring my family.”

“Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.”

“We dim sums have been craving for dim sum for awhile. We decided to find Tasty Dim Sum House and give it a try.

We were greeted by Jerry, a very courteous, helpful man. On the table, you can check out the menu for the different dim sums you want with pictures. You pick and write how many you want from the order form.

The items you order comes out very hot, very tasty too. They provide you with the hit mustard, hot sauces. The tea was Jasmine. The teapot and tea cup looks very fancy. We really like the food and staff.

I would recommend this place if you are in a mood for dim sum.”

It definitely beats having to drive all the way to SGV or Chinatown, and deal with that stupid traffic. Dim sum selection has a good selection.
You can order frozen if you wanna steam dim sum at home.

“Pretty good experience! The lamb chops were super flavorful and grilled to perfection. The food took a bit longer as I’ve come to expect at Mediterranean spots.

The lamb chops had two sizes and I ordered the larger one and apparently the cashier entered the order incorrectly for the regular size. He let me know after they started cooking and I said I was fine with the regular size combo and didn’t want to go through the hassle of refunding and paying again. It was no biggie. I could probably do better by eating less from time to time.

After the food came out, it seemed like they gave me the large size after all. It wasn’t necessary, but it was a nice gesture. The beets salad, baba ghanoush were great additions to the lamb chops. The rice and pita were a bit lacking and left much to be desired, but the garlic sauce helped. The pita was much thicker than other places and was a bit dry. The rice didn’t have any flavor compared to other Mediterranean spots. I had to mix all the garlic sauce into the rice to give it an upgrade. The beef shawarma was very flavorful and well cooked.

We’ll be back to this place to give it another go.”

“We finally decided to try this “new” Thai place. We had a very bad experience with the former Thai restaurant at this location. This time, we were pleased with its food and service. It’s probably one of the best a Thai places here in Chino Hills. The beef was tender and the noodles were proper. It also listens well when we asked not to add any peanuts to our dishes for to allergy. They indeed forgone on the peanuts. Everything was decent with one small note: mango sticky rice needs more mango!

Vegetarian options: Thai places always have a decent selections of veggies.

Parking: Always plenty of parking a few steps away.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small but enough room to maneuver.”

“Came in on a Sunday around 6pm with my family. We had only been here once back in 2019. The service was great. We got chicken, shredded beef taquitos and beef nachos. They were all good as well as the sauces.”

“I came in for a little snack with my dad and ordered a simple spaghetti with spinach and marinara sauce. (lil tip ask about the special when you visit because on Sunday you get free garlic bread with spaghetti ) Anyways, for a marinara sauce it was delicious and silky, with a perfect balance of tomato tartness and olive oil. The garlic bread was amazing too with a delightful crunch, perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce. Staff was also super friendly, welcoming and helpful”

“I visited here recently for the 1st time since pandemic. It was so sad when they closed. They changed name but foods are the same. Mostly I liked it but the famous clam chowder has less clams than before and chicken soup little saltier than before.”
