It’s hard to match the taste of a regular burger when you don’t have a gluten bun or dairy but they did a good job. Now, we did order a second time and it wasn’t as good then. Someone else must have made it but it still hit the spot. I always want another burger afterward. 😋”

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.”

I also began sampling the rice balls and have two more to go to have tried them all. Delicious!! I got a signature tea (today was roasted oolong tea, toffee is my favorite), a milk tea with boba (today was toasted oolong milk tea) and one of my favorite fruit teas with boba, cactus passion tea. I have tried at least 20 different drinks and enjoyed all of them. The staff is friendly and professional, worth a stop whether you just want a drink or some delicious food. Highly recommend!! Truly a hidden gem!!”

“Roberto at Gusto has been amazing with the catering service at our 5 year old's birthday party. We had 45 people - 25 adults and 20 kids, all of who were extremely happy with the food. We had the types of pasta, 2 sauces, garlic bread, veggie skewers and condiments. Highly recommend Gusto for catering. Top notch service, excellent food and catering supplies at great price.”

“Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.”

No points— and a LARGE bill. Most of food was satisfactory , however the garlic green beans were POORLY prepared. The stems had not been removed. We mentioned this to our server. No manager addressed this with us , and no adjustment nor accommodation was made. This was not a stellar experience...”

Today, though, I saw a woman being incredibly disrespectful. Mistakes can happen when ordering food, but the staff was very kind and offered to fix her order at no charge. Instead of appreciating that, she started asking why the cooks spoke Spanish “if this was America,” which was both rude and racist. Despite her behavior, the staff remained patient, and I really admire them for that.

“This weekend, I took my little dog to Chino for a walk. After seeing the cows, I randomly searched for a highly-rated Korean restaurant nearby. I never expected it to be so amazing; it's even better than those in K-town! 😋 This place used to be a chain brand, and the one in Chino is a new store. It's very popular among Koreans.
The white-cut meat was served and it was completely different from what I expected! It contained beef, tripe and tendons, and was paired with onions and bean sprouts. The plus point was the fragrant garlic, which, when combined with their sauce, was so delicious that I couldn't get enough of it. The tendons were so tender and I loved it so much 😍
The spicy pickled crabs 🦀 are so deliciously seasoned. Who wouldn't love a sweet and spicy seafood ice cream? Once served, it's gone in no time, with people taking one bite after another. Even my friend who doesn't like crabs had his first taste and couldn't stop eating so much.
The spicy octopus 🐙 rice bowl is really fragrant. The octopus is so chewy and bouncy, and it's so delicious. I also ordered the combo of cream soup and grilled steak, which is very cost-effective. The cream soup goes perfectly with the sticky rice bowl. There's even a recommendation on the napkin for how to enjoy the cream soup. The soup is so creamy and rich.
?? Here, you can also find the same style of Sunnongdan's pork ribs stew, but at a more affordable price. There are two sizes to choose from, and even the smaller one is enough for two people. Once you take a bite, the meat just falls off the bone, tender and flavorful. 😋
The staff are all very nice. It's a place I'll definitely come back to. The Korean food here really suits my taste and there are many side dishes. This is the most satisfying Korean meal I've had recently, without a doubt. Recently, many people have been coming to Chino Hiking to see the cows 🐮. You really should give it a try.”

“Marugame Udon in Chino Hills is such a comforting spot; especially on a cold, rainy day. Their udon soups are absolutely delicious, warm, and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness in every bowl.

As a first-time visitor though, I will say the ordering process was a little confusing. A clearer sign or simple explanation for newcomers would go a long way. The layout of the tables also feels a bit uninviting and could definitely be improved to make the dining experience more comfortable.

With that said, the staff truly made up for it. Everyone was warm, kind, and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. Overall, great food and great people; just a little room for improvement in the flow and layout. I’ll still be back for that amazing udon! 🍜”

This is their second location and I'm hoping they open more loations soon where I don't have to travel so far. The only bad part of the restaurant is the location of all their dishes. I personally had a good experience ordering here, got a jasmine matcha with osmanthus jelly squares; minimal sweetness and it was DELICIOUS.

Reviews note a long wait time, almost noon on a Thursday I waited less than 5 minutes. Something to note is a lot of drinks can't be modified and they run out of ingredients often (brown sugar boba). Also in the 15 minutes that i was here I saw two wrong orders get sent out and brought back, just FYI.

They have a lot of really interesting drink combos so I think ill be back. Hopefully no stems next time.”
