“Came here on a recommendation from someone. Was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, plenty of Tv's to watch the game. Most non-alcoholic drinks are served in a jumbo size mug 🍺. Ordered off menu BLT with avocado on Squaw bread with curly fries 😋. Large portions, so if you are hungry, you won't be when you leave, or split it with someone. Definitely give Roscoe's Deli a try if you are in the area. We stopped on our way back to L.A. from Palm Springs.“

The service was great! Very attentive! The food tasted good but not exceptional. The rice was a bit pasty and the beef not as flavorful for an expensive dish. Karrage was great!“

“Oh my god. It was so good. I was craving a burger and I can’t eat gluten or dairy and holy crap…YUM! I hadn’t had a good burger like that in a long time. It’s hard to match the taste of a regular burger when you don’t have a gluten bun or dairy but they did a good job. Now, we did order a second time and it wasn’t as good then. Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

A: Everyone’s talking about the breakfast burritos… and they’re absolutely right.

We got the chorizo breakfast burrito, and I can confidently say it’s in my top 3 of all time. Maybe even number one. It’s enormous (easily two pounds), stuffed with fluffy eggs (like eight of them), golden potatoes, and loads of bold, flavorful chorizo. Add the green sauce and you’ve got flavor fireworks going off in every bite.

But let’s talk about those pancakes.
They should be illegal. Crispy on the edges, fluffy in the center, and so buttery soft they basically melt in your mouth. One bite and I was straight up five years old again, sitting at the table waiting for pancakes on a Saturday morning. This is comfort food sorcery.

These bad boys are thick, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. One bite and I was like, “Do I even need the rest of this plate?” You could order just these and walk away a happy human.

“Marugame Udon in Chino Hills is such a comforting spot; especially on a cold, rainy day. Their udon soups are absolutely delicious, warm, and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness in every bowl.

As a first-time visitor though, I will say the ordering process was a little confusing. A clearer sign or simple explanation for newcomers would go a long way. The layout of the tables also feels a bit uninviting and could definitely be improved to make the dining experience more comfortable.

With that said, the staff truly made up for it. Everyone was warm, kind, and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. Overall, great food and great people; just a little room for improvement in the flow and layout. I’ll still be back for that amazing udon! 🍜“

This is their second location and I'm hoping they open more loations soon where I don't have to travel so far. The only bad part of the restaurant is the location of all their dishes. • BBQ 3 Item with Rice 燒臘三拼飯 – $18.95

• Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup 牛腩炖雲吞麵 (3 wontons) – $16.50

• Baked Pork Chop with Cheese & Tomato Sauce 芝士焗豬扒飯 – $16.95

• Claypot Rice with Black Bean Spare Ribs 豉汁排骨煲仔飯 – $17.95

All were good except the claypot rice—it was just okay and not our favorite.

Service was fast and friendly. Portions were generous, and the flavors were comforting after camping. A good spot for a casual family meal. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.“
