My family loves this place for their delicious yet super cheap eats!

A classic is their Juicy Pork Dumplings and Soup-filled Shu Mai; these dumplings are the stars of the show, living up to their name with a flavorful broth and tender filling. For something with a kick, the Spicy Wontons were a definite highlight, with a rich, aromatic sauce that had the perfect amount of heat.

The main courses were equally impressive. The Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice was a savory and well-balanced dish, while the Salt and Pepper Tofu Fish had a wonderfully crispy exterior and a soft, delicate inside. They were having a special where this dish was only $9.99!! The Beef Wrap was amazing, a delicious green onion pancake filled with tender beef and fresh veggies and loads of sauce! For greens, we chose their Sautéed Baby Bok Choy, a simple but perfectly prepared vegetable dish that provided a nice, fresh contrast to the other rich flavors.

The service was prompt and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Mama Lu's lives up to its reputation for serving authentic, delicious food that is perfect for a group. I can't wait to go back and try more of their extensive menu.“

“Very authentic and delicious Sichuan restaurant. The sauerkraut fish is their specialty and definitely worth trying. The portions are quite big, we were able to share the single sauerkraut fish dish between two people. You order on your phone and they bring out the food, and all of the utensils and napkins are in a little drawer at your table. Very clean interior and the staff are always ready to assist when needed. They also have fortune sticks which are fun.“

“This place is the best! I’ve had the bacon ranch fries from here for pickup and through uber eats. The employees are so kind and the the service is great. The portion for the price is pretty good. Also it tastes amazing! They offer so much variety and their desserts sound amazing.

“Great food and great price. Trust me, food is delicious. Very busy, which is a bit of a problem because they can't accommodate the people coming in at rush hours. Tables inside and out fill up. My wife and I get cheviche with good portions. Kids got tacos and burritos. The food was very good. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is usually full. Would get more stars really, which affects their service. No parking or place to eat makes us sometimes come back another time when there is enough space. They do have fast service.“

The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.“

The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“
