I added takin valentina lemons tapatio. And also got a chocolate icecream made with real icecream. And u could not resist the mango burrito. The owner help me he was very friendly. The place used to be a juice it up. It's been mango now for 7 years“

The food was excellent and was served quickly. Service was good and friendly.
We especially liked that there were multiple vegetarian options on the menu. They had indoor and outdoor seating available.
Beer and wine are available.

“Best breakfast ever!!!!!! They took care of my gluten free needs. I couldn’t have toast but I got to taste the homemade jam. It was delicious.

No one knows how we could have missed our first visit for so long!! *****Big word of advice: Parking is easier if you go across the lot and walk up because there is constant traffic passing behind you if you pull in out front. Lots of cars can be difficult to see as there are many other businesses and I had to move stealthily and try to see around delivery trucks blocking my view. There are spaces across the lot, always. People who know me are aware 1) I don't wait in long lines for food and 2) Parking must be survivable. For my friend's birthday I wanted to surprise her with some great items she would not have time to buy for herself. I was thrilled to step into one of the sweetest, cleanest and most attractive bake shops ever. The young man at the counter was so great and helped with my questions. Did I only buy a cupcake for my friend, you ask? No, I made sure to buy extra items to bring home and do "quality control" if you know what I mean. Haven't you ever bought a big bag of treats before, taking only a portion out for the recipient? Have you not placed the most beautiful cupcakes into the fridge and looked forward to having fun later on? But not too long in the future? You have to visit and check out this assortment. Cupcakes are frosted while you're there. Only fresh ingredients we all want to see are used for these sweets, too. There were choices galore- And Happy Birthday cookies!! Of course I got one! I gave it with the cupcake. (I'm not a monster.) This beautiful hidden gem creates gluten-free, keto, and vegan sweets. You will swoon at the flavors on the labels here. I have no idea how I left the shop without two big bags but I carefully got my one big bag home instead of dipping my hand in while driving. I cannot drive by now without whispering "Best cupcake ever" and bowing my head, smiling.“

“Stopped at Shields today. We had breakfast, followed by a walk around the gardens. So many trees had fruit on them, just going to waste. Signs all over saying "don't pick the fruit." Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“

Senior Gonzalez and the family was very friendly and welcoming and quickly made room for all 19 of us. The entire staff team was friendly with us and made sure we had everything we needed! Also it was clear his customers were repeat and he gave each attention.

We were a larger party, total of 19 of us including children, which meant Mr Gonzales had to act quickly to accommodate seating but made it work in great time!

The food?……there was nothing left!!! From the chips and salsa, guacamole, carne asada tacos, Al pastor tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, tortas, enchiladas….all very delicious and even the pickiest eaters ate everything!

The few people in our group said they were glad we decided to stay!!!!

“Took our neighbors for their 40th anniversary. Even though they’ve lived in the valley for multiple decades, they had never been there (which is what I had hoped so as to surprise them). Took us newbies (less than 3 years) to introduce them to one of the valley’s hidden gems. They were captivated and very impressed and appreciative of their dining experience at this lovely setting. Each of us had a different entree and everyone was super pleased with their choice. Our guest has named Melange her new favorite restaurant.“

“We went there tonight for the first time after getting a flyer for them. The dining area is clean and nice decor but a bit crowded when navigating between tables. We were asked for our drink order right away, and it delivered quickly. The male server came to take our order but we were not quite ready yet since this was our first visit and wanted to look over the menu. The server turned and left in a huff 🙄, sorry we were putting him out… Later a different server came to take our order. Again, I felt we were putting her out as well, not very hospitable or welcoming. Our meal arrived and it was very good; we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately after the meal was delivered our server went missing in action, no check back or refill on our drinks. In fact she was so busy chatting with the table behind me that she just reached over to set the bill for the meal on our table without breaking stride in her conversation with the other table. When it was time to go we asked for to-go containers for what we had not eaten; again I felt like we interrupted her as she returned with the containers dropped them on the table, turned and walked away. Later she returned to pick up our payment, not a thank you or how was your visit just grab and go. Bottom line for us, while the food was very good, well prepared and presented. The service was very underwhelming. We will have to think about returning for a second visit.“

“We have been to Boulevards 3 or 4 times for dinner, each time it was a great experience; service, food, and ambiance way above par...however, we had lunch for the first time a week ago this past Friday with 7 other people. While the service was good, the food was subpar...I had a professional LA Chef with us, who did not say a word, but neither he or his wife ate their lunches and I know them well enough to know they did not like it...I ordered chili, it was not very good and was luke warm, but the server took it immediately and warmed it. My partner ordered a club sandwich, it too was subpar, and another friend also ordered chili and felt as I did. While the others in the party were grandkids, the one salad looked like a bowl filled with lettuce thrown together, and not much thought at that, one had a sandwich and I looked at that, it too looked awful, and my one grandson said his lunch was good...I do not remember what he had. For a place that has no kids menu and prices are steep, everything should be served professionally. ALSO...I was in the restaurant business in LA and NYC for over 25 years and it is 2024 and time for Boulevards to have a voice mail instead of a message that askes the customer to call back when they cant answer the phone as they "are serving other customers" The customer should not have to keep calling back. By the way, I just called to make reservations for this coming Tues nite, 4 times over a 15 - 20 minute period, and each time I got this same message. We really like Boulevards for dinner, but as with all restaurants, and included my own, there is always room for improvement!“
