“Dave’s Hot Chicken is fire! 🔥 The chicken is super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the seasoning is on point. I got the medium heat tenders with fries and they were perfect — spicy but not overwhelming. The pickles and sauce really tie it all together. Quick service and solid portions. Definitely going back!

“Baba’s Hot Chicken is located inside Redlands Public Market, a food court housed in a historic 1890 landmark packing house. The inside of this place is nicely decorated and lively. The staff were very friendly. They gave me a warm welcome. I ordered one mini Baba’s Hot Chicken Sandwich, one mini Loaded Fries, and one cup of creamy Mac & Cheese. The food was extremely good, excellent, and impressive. The Loaded Fries were especially amazing - packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I loved the food so much and finished it in no time!

“I went for a quick lunch and got the 2 piece combo plus mini churros for dessert. I wasn't too thrilled paying 20 dollars for a meal that didn't fill me up. Cole slaw is such a easy side to make but most places mess it up except for this place. It's probably the only restaurant that knows how to make good Cole slaw that I've been to out here. The chicken was excellent and the churros were perfect. My only complaint was the price but maybe this is the new norm.“

“Been going to this location for many years. Tiny hole in the wall location. The food is always good. The chicken is bursting with flavor. Only negative I've found in 15 years is the occasional fragment of bone. Only happened twice in all the times we've gone here. When your choping with a meat clever its bound to happen. Their catering portions are generous, we have used them to cater parties serveral times. The lobby has always been clean and the staff are very nice.“

“I used the app to order 2 chicken strip wraps for $6. The ordering on the app can be tricky. Be sure to click on the 'Special' offer option.
The wraps were okay. There were too many pickles in them for my liking tho. Just one filled my stomach enough until dinner.
I picked up my order through the drive-thru. It was ready and there was nobody waiting ahead of me.“

“I was in the area and decided to stop by and grab a bite. I heard there was a rebrand and needed to see it for myself. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed by their great customer service! The store owner Kyle even took time to personally make my food and serve me at my table. I felt like a guest being welcomed into a home and not a customer. The atmosphere of the store was very family friendly. The menu has various options from burritos, tacos and a healthier option of salads. They also seem to have options for the whole family and even big events like parties. I decided to go with the dinner special and was taken aback by how delicious it was! The chicken was juicy and the right amount of crisp. The beans and rice were also delicious! It also comes with potatoe salad, salsa, tortillas and a medium drink. I was so full after eating the chicken I decided to take the rest home. You get a great meal for a great low price! This place checks all the boxes for me as it has great customer service, atmosphere and most importantly food. I will definitely be back again to support the business!“

So when Harvey said he’d take my order, I joked “from a human?!” He continued friendly and efficient interaction while taking the order, and showed his ability to read the customer when he added to my list of why I prefer a person taking my order, “and you have someone to blame if the order is wrong”. I laughed and said I knew he got it right.
