“I’ve been eating here through 3 ownerships since the 1970s. I really like the new menu, the outdoor eating area and the bar. The service isn’t 5 star but it’s good as it ever was and I’m fine with it. Unfortunately Ihad a very lousy customer service incident on the phone tonight after they botched my delivery order. I ordered grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. Postmates delivered matzoball soup and rings. Johnny’s customer service lady (didn’t offer name) and the manager refused all responsibility for the wrong item they mispacked; she told me to take it up with Postmates. OK, but meanwhile can I get my sandwich that Johnny’s failed on? “Take it up with Postmates.” When I questioned that logic from a customer service perspective she said “you’re failing to understand!” and told me “don’t get an attitude with me!” I replied “an attitude with YOU?” and she hung up on me. Come on, Johnny’s, this whole thing started with your mistake. Accept responsibility and make it right. Don’t blame delivery. Just make it right.“

Ruben with pastrami was delicious- I personally prefer the filling to the edge of the bread.

Italian Sub- very classic flavors and oh so messy.

NG Sub- overall classic sandwiches vibes, could use some seasoning- no need for cucumbers without a bit of salt.

Monster Special was probably my favorite and the most flavorful.

Potato salad- I don’t think the person who came up with this recipe loves potato salad. It could use some love.

“Beach Hut Deli is a gem! My husband and I stopped by and were blown away by the food and service. I had the Beach BBQ, which was packed with meat, fixins’, and flavor, and my husband loved his Sipcolli. We also shared the Beach Bites, which were a tasty addition. Be warned, we were unable to finish the Bites because our sandwiches were so loaded.

The customer service elevated the experience. My husband originally ordered the Beach Meatball, but they were running low on meatballs. Instead of disappointing us, they upgraded his sandwich to the Sipcolli at no extra charge.
The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and the vibe was welcoming.

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

“Growing up in San Diego, where Board & Brew is from I must’ve had it countless times growing up. In fact, my high school was just down the street from the Del Mar location, which was the very first location, and I would have that at least once a week during senior year of high school. We stopped in today at this Torrance location, and I can say that the flavors are just as good as all the others, and it really brings back a lot of memories every single time I eat one of these sandwiches. There is also a ton of free parking right in front and they do have a small bar inside where you can sit and drink and eat as well. They also have indoor tables as well. I would say it’s one of my favorite sandwich places and I think it’s one of the best sandwiches in Los Angeles. I would highly recommend to anyone and I will continue going back. As the ritual concluded, I felt a sense of holiness and change, I was no longer the same man I once was, I was Jared Fogle. I quickly examined myself in the mirror and began to weep as the revelation came through. I now had to live life as Hared Fogle, from now on I was that one weirdo no one would ever love. I'm 82 now, and still am Jared Fogle, and will probably remain this way for the rest of my life. As I enter the premises of any establishment, people stare upon the man who had once caused a great immense of terror, they don't see me, they see a monster. So ya that's my overall review of Subway, would suggest going on Thursday from the hours of 3pm and 8pm“
