“Stopped by while driving through the area and wasn't familiar with the style of Chinese food or the terminology of the menu, but the woman at the counter explained which menu item was chow mein. Placed my customized order for chicken chow mein (they were out of pork) and used their restroom. I was delighted with the restroom because so many businesses are closing them to the public these days. Came out of the restroom and they were still cooking my dish! They apparently make most of their dishes to order instead of premaking the dishes and keeping them warm. When I got out to my car, the chow mein was so hot I burned my mouth a little bit! I've never had Chinese that fresh in my life! The seasoning was very good and not at all like what I am used to. If you are looking for traditional, boring Chinese food, you don't want to come here. However, if you are interested in fresh Chinese food that's doing it's own thing, give this place a try! The only regret I have is that the portions aren't bigger, because I could have eaten a lot more it was so good!“

“Lanzhou is an ancient, desert city on the old Silk Road so its culinary heritage is as wide as it is deep. While I’ve not been there I would like to think the food here is pretty authentic Gansu province cuisine. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant is popular, but it’s a better sign when an Asian restaurant is full of Asian patrons. Everything we had here was good. The chili crunch oil condiment (which is mild and has smoky, earthy flavor) made everything even better. Guaranteed I’m going back.“

“My mother lives at Walnut Creek, and when I come to visit her.I'd like to take her out to lunch. She wanted Thai food this last visit. I came upon this little restaurant when searching for restaurants in the area. We were both pleasantly surprised. The food was clean and fresh and just enough. It was the sweetest little spot, very chill, perfect from me and Mama. It appeared to be a family owned local spot. I believe it was the daughter who served us, and she was very accommodating and kind. It appeared that she knew all the other patrons. They must have been regulars. We will definitely be going back!“

“We got the cold Sichuan spicy noodle, fried beef & Ho Fun, and pork soup dumplings with Thai tea. The food was amazing, definitely recommend getting a cold and hot dish, and the dumplings are very creamy and packed full of soup. The Thai tea could be stronger, but overall still 5 stars!“

“Honestly, the best pho I've had in a long time and the second best was the same restaurant, but in Walnut Creek. I wouldn't go anywhere else for pho in Concord. They sell small, medium, large bowls. I got a medium and it was plenty“

“Food was kinda bland and plain jane. We ordered Alfredo fried chicken noodles and Zucchini pesto chicken noodles with Cheesy garlic breads on the side. Amongst all we ordered, the garlic breads with marinara sauce was amazing! Both the main course items were mediocre and small on serving sizes. Staff, seating and restrooms were all just fine. However, I don’t recommend this place though! Much better places out there.“
