“The food was very good for fast casual Mediterranean. We split a chicken gyro sandwich and a Greek salad. Plenty of food for two hungry people. The soda machine was not working properly, and the server promptly provided a refund. The patio overlooking the bay was very pleasant. Would be happy to return for lunch anytime.“

“Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.“

The beer selection are their own brews and covers lagers to IPAs! The Japanese Lager is a personal favorite! They did bring back an old fave too of Mango Toasted Rice Lager!
Their burgers are full of flavor! A choice of 4/6/8 chicken strips that are a kid pleaser!
The swag and beer collection are a must to check out!
The place does get a little packed at end of school due to parents enjoying a pint while they wait for their little ones. I definitely did when my son went to Albert Einstein!

“In traveling around the US and Mexico, there are a few restaurants which stand out as memorable and indelibly so for the delicious food that they create plus in a manner and care that makes the flavors and texture just that much better.

We decided to try here for something different for breakfast add were we definitely pleased!

We started with the guava and cheese gelatte, a pastry that pleasure senses like a soft plushy sledgehammer. WOW!

The Smiley Christo, a tasty breakfast sandwich that I did not want to stop as well as the Mc Muff… that was even better!

All washed down with a Buko Pandan Latte, iced, and a B.S. Palo Santo Latte, hot.

What a great way to start our travels!

“My roommate and I have been coming here for a while, it's easily one of our favorite regular spots. The atmosphere is stylish and gives off great vibes and always feels welcoming. The food is always fresh coming from local California farms. The drink menu is solid with all of the staples and some with added twists. The owners Chris and Jenn are amazing, they and their staff are always kind and provide incredible service. Other points to consider are the burger of the month, a rotating culinary delight often themed and always delicious, and the establishment holds many different events from art shows, drink and paint, trivia and so many others. Honestly, it's always a great place with friendly people. Chris and Jenn are leaders in the community and work to not only provide delicious food, and a great experience but also work hard to make the community better. Would recommend, and do recommend to everyone and anyone. 5/5 stars.“

“My sister and I were craving Japanese food, so she suggested Kumi Sushi Grill. I ordered a bento box with chicken teriyaki, yellowtail sashimi, and mixed tempura. My sister also got the chicken teriyaki bento box with mixed tempura, and fried gyoza. The Bento boxes come with miso soup and we also ordered Green Tea.
All I can say is everything was excellent. They give you 3 big pieces of yellowtail sashimi that melted like butter and their tempura was awesome.The portion sizes are huge. We should split a box. You can swe hiw much food my sister had in her to-go box. Mine was just as much food but not as pretty. I highly recommend this place.“

But that's my taste preference. Clean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. City noise not too loud. Service level perfunctory. Clean bathroom.“

Surprisingly fun sports bar that offers up great eats and refreshing drinks.

With a wide variety of beers on tap, the bartenders keep it flowing all day long, especially during game days.

The servers provide excellent service! Dina helped me out and was always checking in on me and my friend. Mich appreciated.

With a good amount of big screen TVs, raffles and shota after each score, it's definitely a fun time.

Respectful crowd, family and pet friendly, the only thing missing is parking! I don't knock them for it since it's not their fault.

There is tons of parking available but beware as you do have to pay the meters on Sundays now starting at 10am... Not a big problem, I just hopped down to another meter once my time was up, which just happened to be halftime.

I'll be back again for sure.

If you are like me, you’ll remember how Mom would heat the oven to 450 degrees and place the block of ice Hungry Man pot pie in the oven for one hour till it transformed into a cauldron of molten lava. My mother would even crack open the hood of the pie and load it with an extra cup of frozen peas and carrots that would cook to perfection in the heavenly inferno of scrumptious delight, which made me the muscular hunk of love that I am today. The San Diego Chicken Pie Shop serves up a pie that is an even better recipe than the one in my memories of my dear Mom. If your are nearby, give it a try.“

“This was the perfect little place near the fishing docks and on the harbor. We were at a conference at the Manchester Hyatt, and it was definitely worth the walk to come eat here. “Hodad’s!! It's an iconic burger joint in Ocean Beach, but even if it wasn't, the burgers are fantastic! The onion rings are definitely worth the upcharge. And it's a great value, too. You will probably have to wait in line to be seated, but it's worth it. And you can see some really interesting characters on Newport Avenue. Try going during an off time, if you don't want to wait. I didn't get his name, but he let me try a few different beers and gave great recommendations based on the styles I like.No food here, but the Papi’s Teppanyaki food truck is here from time to time. “Loved coming here for the jazz nights on Tuesdays. Starts at 7 pm. They serve food though haven't tried it yet. Lots of different beers, ciders and sours on tap. Also, have a couple options for non alcoholic beer, which was a huge plus!
