But it is perfect cause the attention is fast, coffee is good and everything just flows. The owners dog came up and is just a great and friendly dog.“

“Great place to get coffee,super friendly and patient staff. I had the Cognitive Mushroom before and today I tried the Midnight Vietnamese both decaf I loved them both. Make sure to also try their protein donuts, my favorite is chocolate. Indoor and outdoor seating beautiful views and you can take a little walk while you enjoy your drink.“

“The coffee is here is excellent. Cold brew is spectacular black. It needs no sugar or milk. Smooth and sweet all by itself. Iced Aztec Mocha is a perfect blend of espresso, chocolate and milk. Skip Starbucks. Highly recommend!“

“Third time coming in here! Ordered an espresso and a cortado of their Anaerobic Natural Costa Rica Black Diamond this morning, and the whole order was absolutely delicious it hit all the flavor notes! Torque Coffee is the place to go if you’re looking for a specialty espresso or pour-over. Shoutout to Michelle & Taylor, who show such care and attention to detail that’s rare to find it truly comes through in both the taste and presentation (they even preheat the SPRO cup if you’re ordering in-house!). It’s easy to see why Torque is a neighborhood favorite — I always look forward to my next visit!“

“Not a huge fan of the window artwork/covering. The artwork is fine and someone did an awesome job. It has just always been part of the attraction to sit inside with the big open glass from floor to ceiling and people watch sitting anywhere inside, now you can’t see outside except certain areas.“
“Great atmosphere, awesome people, amazing service, high-end equipment, and the prices were very reasonable. Went there twice in a week and have super pleasant experiences. Cannot recommend highly enough and am sad my hometown has nothing close to it's caliber.
Pastries are a tad pricey but you get a lot out of it and they are very well made. Fork and knifing it easily yielded 6-8 solid bites.“

“I visited Nibbles for the first time in PB today with a Senior Tour Group. It was fantastic!! I had the Mocha drink and it was soo delicious!!! But not to mention their Chocolates!! “Good matcha, not overly sweet. I prefer matcha bitter. They have so many choices for matcha drinks and fun seasonal flavors.
Alternative (plant based/vegan) milk choices.
Love the patient and friendly staff.
Plentiful seating inside and out. Normally not at all crowded when I go in early evenings, but it can get busy. Still totally worth the wait.
I love that they serve hot drinks without a plastic lid so I can be mindful of plastic consumption.
They also have snacks, sandwiches items for sale.
Thankfully they have a restroom for customers! Definitely a necessity in this neighborhood.

But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.“

“You know those rare moments when you walk into a place and instantly feel like you’re being taken care of by a genuinely good human? That was us — me and my man! — strolling into Bird Rock Coffee a solid 10 minutes before closing (which is usually the danger zone for awkward vibes 😬).
But instead of getting the classic “please don’t order anything complicated” energy, we were greeted by Amanda, who may very well be the soul of that café.
She welcomed us with the sweetest smile, zero rush, zero pressure. Not only did she help us pick out what we wanted, she actually took the time — at closing time! — to share her story, talk with us like friends, and make us feel so genuinely appreciated. Who does that anymore?!
✨ And honestly… in a world where so much customer service feels robotic or rushed, having someone like Amanda remind us what real human connection feels like? It’s priceless. It’s the kind of warmth you can’t automate, can’t fake, and absolutely can’t replace with a robot.
We walked in expecting a quick caffeine grab.
We walked out feeling like we’d had a moment.

“Update: Virtuoso was once, the higher end, Organic coffee beans that give the coffee a fresh and, most notably, a clean taste that is highly enjoyable. Was one of the best Coffee Roasters in San Diego County. This was my go to roaster for every day coffee. It's changed to Talitha, and I dropped one Star for two reasons: not knowing if the beans are roasted freshly or part of a big batch that's a few weeks old; and, second reason, slow shipping--no beans yet. One plus, Talitha still have a few beans that made Virtuoso, and ordered them. Will they be as good, or even better, I will update. My biggest issue with ever roaster is not knowing type of bean(s), origin, country, etc...“

“As a lover of coffee I have to tell you this is a sleeper spot! The baristas are not just great at their job but some of the nicest and friendliest people! which is very rare these days and greatly appreciated! I asked for a pour over suggestion and Nico was willing to give his recommendations and was actually engaging and enthusiastic! (This is the day after Christmas might I add!) this is hands down THE SPOT. If you’re in the gaslamp area of San Diego you have to stop by. Also the breakfast sandwiches are killer.“

“Really cool and unique coffee! I went in and just asked the barista to give me two coffees he recommended and it did not disappoint! We got the black nitro cold brew and the honey lavender and both were delicious! Also got a donut and it was also great. The barista was so friendly! I would totally make this my go to coffee spot when we visit Coronado.“
