“Have been coming here for 20 years sitting in the corner with my friends, always enjoying the beer, vibe, and commitment.. Today, we did the same, and I want to share that, imo Janna is the one, if not the best example of my feelings. Thoughtful, committed, and honest. O'Brien's speak for themselves. This weekend will be epic.“
“Come for Thursday for the $1 wings. That's right folks, just $1! The wings are pretty flavorful and came out quickly. I really enjoyed the wet rub wings, especially the Thai chili flavor. My least favorite was the lemon pepper, which was a bit sour for me. Are they the best wings I've ever had? Probably not. Did they hit the spot? Absolutely. Would I return for the great wing deal? Definitely!Great selection of beers to pair the wings with as well. Reasonable prices for all the beers. Great service.“
“Here in town for mine and my boyfriends anniversary and we randomly looked up bars near our hotel. This one popped up and we decided to go! Sooooo glad we went! The food was absolutely amazing!!!! Those ginger soy marinated wings were soooooo flavored omg. I wanted more and more haha! The service was amazing, if you don't sit at the bar top, you can order from a side window and I swear my drinks came out in less than 2 minutes and the whole place was packed! The guy working the window was extremely friendly and we felt welcome the second we walked in! Will DEFINITELY be back!“
“Luckily found parking right in front, but can get VERY crowded during Redskins games. There were zero seats at the bar, and I asked a table with space if I could share. Craft beers are holding line at $8 each. Might be the best cheesesteak in San Diego. I'm from the east coast, so I know about these things. Philly Frank's in San Marcos is close, Gaglione Brothers (stadium version) is a distant third. No gristle. The money pitch is the 1/2 cheesesteak ($8) with a side of tots ($6.50). That looked good!Forget about the wings- the Buffalo sauce was good, but the wings themselves were almost comically small. Should have taken a photo. Skip these.“
“*amazing* food, superfun vibe, and a really great selection of guest taps (the BLAH house beers are, well, exactly as advertised - BLAH. ??♀️)I especially like the Highland Park Brewing beers (the pb stout Meryl) and the beers from Living Haus - standouts amid a week of standout beers! ?I had the Harvest pizza today - sweet potatoes, broccolini, really delish sauce “
“Serious locals bar. Great service. Unusually well manicured tap beer selection - nice work. I had a perfectly poured Guinness followed by an HB helles - both in the correct glasses. How often do you get that? Great whiskey selection, if you are so inclined. I was here on a Monday night. There’s a lot of not so ideal bars in this area. This place is an outlier. A true haven of a spot. Look forward to coming back and trying the food.“
“Dig the werewolf- we've been there tha last 2 times in town good food and atmosphere- really good service and selection- good bloody Mary also- karaoke every night they said- I'll have to go back and sing next time we're in town- I'll bring my werewolf mask!“
“We’ve been here many times over the last 6 years or so. Food and service always amazing. Ordered takeout last night-short rib entree, pepperoni pizza and giant pretzel w/ cheese. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Can’t wait to eat here again!“
“This review is from 2018..I am just beginning my thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail and this was the ultimate best send off! Excellent food and atmosphere...and then there was Jair! I was a single person..dining in boots with a backpack...not big bucks. I received the utmost respect and prime service from Jain. Truly this man is an asset to this establishment!“
“So... it's not a secret, but you almost wish it was. Reunion Pub is the kind place when you walk in for the first time, you just kind of do an audible happy sigh, it feels like home. Nothing on the walls was bought at a box store and put up to create ambiance. Everything's original. You get the vibe a million great stories happened here at some point, and one generally happens when ever you're there.Great folks hanging out, great conversations, and over all just chill. Drink specials are actually drink specials - as if inflation just sort of forgot to check in. Comfortable seats for one to many. We came with a group of folks, sat down and it was like sitting in a living room. There's a select few places like Reunion Pub in San Diego, you can count them on one hand. But, the stand out is service. Grace took great care of us, in that way that only someone who knows exactly how to can. Friendly, fast, and left no one waiting, quick with a joke and she seals the deal on the ideal place. It's neighborhood like in feeling and location, easily the top of the area, if not San Diego.“
“Amazing vibe, food, and taps! That such a simple idea could take off like this is a treat. Great space for friends, or just to chill and catch a game. About 4 billion pretzels and sauces to choose from, and the taps are creative and diverse. Wish I was closer.“
“The 1/2 pound cheeseburger and basket of fries gets a solid 4 stars at Rockys. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is my burger and fries weren't hot at service and no napkins were provided.Burger was juicy and perfectly dressed with pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato and of course cheese.“
“We've been here a couple of times lately and enjoyed it both times. We also love the little shop where you can find so many goodies from England. On Easter Sunday I tried the Sunday dinner which was pretty delish. My husband has the fish and chips and said the fish was great but the chips were soggy. If they would have been crispy it would have been a 10 out of 10. I love the atmosphere which does make you feel like you're in England. We will definitely be back.“
“Came to enjoy a good beer, good food and the sunset on the ocean. I got all of that and a lot more. Was solo so sat at the bar. On one side of me was a guy from the east coast that comes here every time he visits on business. On the other is a 50 year Ocean Beach local. Both recommend the fish tacos, but didn't agree on the grilled versus the fried. I ordered the grilled and it was very good. Plentiful portion and perfect balance of fish, veggies and sauce. The sunset was gorgeous, but it was highlighted by a daily Wonderland ritual. They distribute a tasty shot of a special concoction to every customer, ring a ships bell as the sun dips below the horizon and make a lengthy toast to appreciate it. I will be back to San Diego and Wonderland Ocean Pub will be at the top of my list of favorite places to visit.“
“the best brewery in the south bay!!! live bands and DJ are epic, you can chill or dance the night away! great options for beers and ciders!Vegetarian options: ciders available for those who don't drink beer! like me, im vegetarian ✨️“
“Totally the coolest breakfast place!! Decor is so creative and fun with various seating options. Staff friendly and helpful. Food awesome. I feel I am hooked up on their special cinnamon coffee just after one cup. What a fabulous way to start a day! MUST come back!“
“This place... IS INCREDIBLE! Originally planned on going to a taco and beer fest on the pier, the line for that must've been about 2 days long, so the bf and I decided to go somewhere else. Saw it was a close walk and went there to feed our hungry faces and have our own mini beer fest. We were NOT disappointed!!! The service was great, our bartender was a sweetheart and helpful, and the FOOD. WAS. PERFECT. I got the mac n cheese, which was voted best in San Diego for 2 years, and let me tell you by far the best I've ever had. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos, and we also got the sweet chili garlic wings. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we were also given a few beer samples! Highly recommended going here, and we'll definitely be back“
“Have come to live this place over the past year. The service is always on point and it's a fun place to hang out. Free pool on Monday and "hot spot" the rest of the days. Food is just around the corner and most days they bring in pizza or food along the way. Friendly's, Mexican and tons of other choices are just a hop/skip away.“
“This is not a place for a 5 star anything. It is an absolute dive which I absolute LOVE. Gritty and grimy with stiff drinks and RAD bartenders! They do have food something depending on the day and it hits the spot. Dart board, pool tables and such! Highly recommend for a chill night out. Ask for Chris or Logan!“
“Been wanting to visit this place for awhile since I'm a big fan of TopGun: Maverick. This bar was the inspiration for the Hard Deck bar in the movie, down to the airplane models on the ceiling. It's a very small place and doesn't accommodate a a lot of people. For special events, they do have an adjacent room that's large enough for ceremonies. Some things to keep in mind: don't touch the model airplanes and don't put your phone on the bar (or else you'll have to buy everyone a round). You'll also need a military ID to get in base unless you're with someone who has one.“
