Owner Molly was welcoming and Jack, our server was wonderful too. We met chefs on vacation who had come twice in a week to eat there too. Don’t walk, run. But get a reservation, seating is limited.“

Kendra and Kelly are the best—they always greet me warmly and, knowing sparkling rosé is my go-to, pour a glass right after saying hello. The ambience is light and relaxing, and the conversation is consistently pleasant and entertaining—it’s the perfect way to transition from work mode to relaxation.

All of the food here is absolutely delicious, but the ahi crudo and beet salad are my favorites. They’re fresh, flavorful, and never disappoint.

So we came in this morning because I was hungry and we wanted something quick to eat (we had an appointment in 30 minutes). Well, this was not the right place for it. This place is beautiful! The walls are covered in amazing art, it's also a gallery. The owners (who I assume are the ones that are running the place, I may be wrong) are so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is so laid back. It's a place to enjoy, not to rush through. We happened to have come in at the same time as another couple and decided to leave and get fast food so we could make it to our appointment. We let our host know since he was approaching us to take our order. I am writing this review to let everyone know of this wonderful place. They offer a wide vegetarian selection in their menu, and their drinks sounded lovely. I'm definitely coming back, I can't wait to try the Turkish coffee and the iced tea with mint!!!“

“Travelling in the San Diego area, and my wife finds this place. After my previous nights dinner arrangement fail, a pig trough would have been an upgrade. This place was great. Greeted with a smile, food came out fast and was excellent. Mongolian beef and steamed pork dumplings. I could have eaten a 100 of those dumplings. Great value, service and experience.“

“I pass by Big Front Door often heading to work. Decided to stop in and give it a try this afternoon. I got their Cobbler salad and my friend got the chicken parmesan sandwich. The portion sizes are very generous, I asked for extra dressing with my salad and didn't really need it as there was a decent amount left. The food tasted great and was served up without much of a wait time. The star of the show was the gentleman that helped us though! I wish I had taken the time to get his name to give him proper credit. He greeted us, made small talk while my friend and I decided what to have and as we were leaving he offered to clear our table for us. Very polite and friendly! I will definitely be adding this to my list of regular places to go.“
