“We had a wonderful time at Cays this weekend. I was joined by two sisters and my daughter. We sat al fresco. We ordered the following: 1 bottle of Pellegrino, 2 teas, 2 martinis, a Tito Mule, an order of brocolini, 2 patatas bravas, 1 pan con tomate, 1 burger, and Spanish cheese and meats. Total without the tip was 151.93. Yes, a bit steep, but you are in Coronado and the views are very nice. Our waiter was efficient and he was friendly. I have had many meals at this hotel (I am a local) and I have to say most of the time I have been very satisfied. I would highly recommend Cays. I wish to stay in this hotel one day...“

The food is very good; our boys love the nuggets, which are home made from chicken breast and are amazing. The beer selection is deep enough that any taste can be accomidated.“

“I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

“We tried the Southern Chicken sandwich and Caesar salad. Both were good. The sandwich was supposed to be spicy but it wasn’t, as far as I could tell.

They have a wall full of beer taps handles from floor to ceiling. I was told that they rotate through all kinds of beers. You can also see kegs all about. Seems like a great place to grab a drink while watching a game on TV.

Street parking only, so be prepared to drive around for a spot.“

“We are from out of town and decided to stop by since it’s close to our rental. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is so good and the service is amazing. I ordered “To The Bitter End” that was created by our bartender, Janeli. That drink is fantastic and she (Janeli) took great care of us. My husband had been traveling all day and was so hungry. “My bf and I came twice to growlers in one week to watch the U of A play in the NCAA March madness games. The first time was during the week. There was a wait and we had drinks at the bar. We were seated maybe 20 minutes later. Our server was Larissa. We ordered food and everything came out relatively quickly. The burger was quality as one would expect paying $30. Overall good experience. The second time we came on Saturday. Again a wait, once again drinks at the bar and then seated 15 minutes later. Our server didn’t come for more than 15 minutes. Larissa recognized us and offered us beverages to start, then our actual server came by and seemed confused when we told her she had already taken our drink order. We ordered food and it took quite a bit longer than the first time we came. We understood as it was much busier on the weekend. Our server checked on us but she clearly was busy with maybe more tables than she could handle. Overall we like the food and cocktails even though it’s over priced. It’s definitely a great place to watch any sports. They actually turn the audio on for the games which was a plus. We will be back.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Crystal Pier in San Diego. Both trips we have ordered deliver from SD TapRoom and all of our meals have been delicious. Last night was the best one for me though. I actually called them thinking they had deliver me a regular crust pizza instead of gluten-free (I have celiac). It tasted WAY TOO GOOD to be gluten-free, but it was! I have no idea how they made such a good crust (I actually said this can’t be what I ordered since it tasted so good)! The salads are also fabulous and my sister had the fish taco’s and loved them. Chili and burgers have also been a hit. Thanks for a great couple of dinners!“

“Favorite college neighborhood bar. Their natural wine selection is always on point as well as their beer selection. Food is delicious. I love that they always have seasonal menu items depending on what’s in season. Pool is free, AC kicks butt, and they have a great outdoor space if you ever did have a larger group. Dogs are also allowed which is nice if we ever wanna bring our pup.“

“I love this place I always come here and normally I get amazing service but today I had my first bad experience with a bartender I haven't seen her before but you have to work pretty hard to ignore somebody when you're literally the only person at the bar ended up checking out and left rest of food didn't feel like ordering anything else with her besides that great deals and great food“

“Swing Social was one of the best bar and restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I came to surprise a buddy with a Super Mario themed birthday and everything was perfect. Huge shoutout to Marshall for taking great care of us and making the night feel welcoming and fun. The bartender even added a couple of our song requests which made it even better. Drinks were amazing, food was great, and the music and atmosphere were on point. 10 out of 10 recommend and I’m already thinking about bringing my company here for a corporate party soon.“

“This is the first time I’ve been somewhere quite like this. It’s a classic brewery and restaurant but it’s set in a massive space with multiple seating sections with large, excellent quality TVs. Beyond burger was a little uninspired but that’s my fault for getting something uninspiring. The beer was good, especially the coconut haze, and the spot looks like it would be electric during a major sporting event. I ended up watching curling. :-)“
