I got a little cofusing, but Everything worked at the end. It was delicious drinks for ice, cold and yummy. Definitely go back brick in.

“Most dishes are from the region Jalisco, Mexico. I'm not familiar with that region but the flavors were more subtle and complex than the typical Mexican tacos I've had.

The chicken flautas is excellent. I liked the shrimp taco and al pastor. The pescado was my least favorite - it lacked texture.“

“Dined at Viva last night with friends from Petaluma. We absolutely loved our experience. It was chef and owner Sima’s Persian Night, something new she is doing on Monday and Tuesday nights. Sima is Persian, and although she has served amazing Mexican food since assuming ownership of the restaurant, she has always added a twist that reveals her Persian influence. The new menu offers a great selection of traditional Persian cuisine, sweet, savory, tart and includes wine, beer, and specialty drink pairings. My party enjoyed a crisp Sauvignon blanc, but next time I will try the Santa Rosa plum fruit roll up margarita as it looked beautiful and the woman at the table next to ours said it was delicious. We ordered an herb and cheese app, sima brought olives in a walnut sauce, the cucumber yogurt dish, lamb and quince stew, lentil and rice, and chicken pomegranate stew. All was delicious! We rarely order dessert, but were curious about the menu so had the pistachio ice cream, havla, and bread pudding. Sima brought an herbal tea that was a perfect compliment. Each dessert was incredible-the ha la my favorite but my friends voted the bread pudding. Amazing! The portions are just right which allowed us to try many different things, including desserts, but leave feeling satisfied, not “stuffed.”
Sima made everyone in the restaurant feel as though they were in her home. Persian music was playing in the background, and although she was busy serving, supporting staff, helping with takeout orders, she spent time visiting at tables, sharing food and her extensive knowledge about the traditions behind the meals on the menu.
I noticed some customers arrived expecting her normal Mexican fare and she honored it.
This is not a “get in and get out” experience- come for a unique, sobre mesa experience. Highly recommend.“

“Thankful to my son to turning me on to this spot- I was very impressed. We used to come to this location at lunch when it was Jalisco’s and worked at Kaiser down the road.
Very clean interior (with seating) as well as a covered patio for outdoor dining.
My order was ready when I arrived and after the friendly staff member handed me my food, she also gave me a bag for chips & containers for salsa (complimentary). It’s hard for me to resist a salsa bar and this one had much to offer. I brought home the avocado salsa. The two tacos I ordered were plentiful- I subbed out mine with avo instead of meat and my taco was full of avocado!
The horchata was refreshing and delicious.
I will return here for sure!

“Must try!!! I got delivery asada quesadilla, qouesabirrias and ceviche. That quesadilla was absolutely the best I've ever had the flavor the meat!! I've tried a lot of places in Sonoma and Marin but hands down this was the best I couldn't shut up for 15 minutes about how good it was!! The birria was very good too and the price great!!! Last but anything but the least was the ceviche it was fresh good flavor and the mango tasted lovely with the fish!! Im going to have to stop by tomorrow too!!“

“The food quantity and quality remain the same after ownership changed a couple years ago. The employees are still there too.
The prices have gone up as have all foods, but the quality was in every bite. I enjoyed a Jose breakfast burrito and had two meals from it. The restaurant is small with limited seating, but I have always useouto go options.
I am pleased to recommend this establishment.“

“I really miss Sonoma Taco Shop and their McDougall vegan menu. I've sampled alot of veggie burritos in SoCo, and Ochoas is the real deal. It was the just right balance of rice, beans and steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots wrapped in a chewy whole wheat tortilla. The red and green salsas are both really flavorful. So glad to have found them and to hear they have a restaurant in Santa Rosa with same menu. I'll be back!“

“this is a tough review for me because I really like the tacos there but I had a chile relleno burrito today and we really seem to be like in flavorthe only thing that tastes good in the burrito was the beans and the hot sauce that I got on the side so if you go to this place order tacos don't order the burritos well at least that's my experience because I got a special but it tasted nothing like a chili relleno.The service was fairly decent“

“Heard the fountain and wandered over, someone's abuelita is making tortillas out front Fri-Sun. We sat outside for the water feature and great weather. Offered guacamole upon seating which came promptly with salsas. Next was a small bean dip with one flour, one corn fresh off the grill tortillas...YUM! Changed my order from tacos to fajitas to enjoy more fresh tortillas and try both steak and carnitas. Also tried carne asada plate which was great! There's beer and wine, plenty of tables for all sized parties inside and out, and a chips and salsa bar inside. Bathroom is wheelchair accessible one room bathroom with 1 stall. No steps to access restraunt or restroom, room to maneuver throughout restaurant without barriers to bathroom, as long as it's not crazy crowded.
Service was excellent. Did was delicious. Upbeat festive music and decor. I'm excited to go back and try fish tacos.“

“When I think of consistently great food, I think of Lila's. The staff are responsive and helpful, the space is extremely clean and organized with booths and tables. The chef makes the food within plain view which is awesome. This place hasnt stayed in business for over 20 years without fully earning it.
