“We picked up sandwiches yesterday at 9:30 am and they were absolutely delicious. Sandwich making is an art. Everything was so perfect and the service was quick and so friendly. I have celiac and got a beautiful turkey club on GF bread. It even had a crunchy hand wrapped pickle on the side. My colleagues ordered theirs on the sourdough rolls and said the bread was incredible. We were on our way to an event so we needed to get food early. I highly recommend!“

I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. The folks there now are awesome, they are kind, the food is really good and they do it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. And everything is clean and the place, while small, is welcoming and chill. If I had just one complaint, it would be that they go a little light with the meat... which the previous owner long ago did the opposite of. And, it is a little more pricey as of late than it used to be, but everything is... and you get what you pay for. I will finish this by saying that Port of Subs beats the hell out of Subway in every way possible.“

Jersey Mikes, we ordered our subs online, gave us an ETA and when I showed up, the place was empty, I figured my food would be sitting, getting cold. Nope. They had just started making it so it would be ready right on time.

“Went here for the first time with a friend we both loved our jalapeño bagels with cilantro cream cheese. Nice crispy exterior and not very doughy which I like, lots of jalapeños too. They have a wide variety of different bagel sandwiches. They’re made fresh daily. I bought a couple bagels to go and they were equally excellent. The prices are a little high compared to where I’m from but that’s the Bay Area for you. I would definitely come back again.“

“Their custom salads are my favorite. Choose a type of green (romaine, spring mix, etc.), and add ingredients, toppings and dressing. Nothing complex, but always good quality served with a smile. Their sandwiches are quite good, as well. One of the specials (as in, not available every day), is a Buffalo Chicken sandwich and is probably my favorite. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

The facility is immaculately cleaned which makes dining-in an easy choice. Some other sandwich shops let the tables sit dirty a while before cleaning them. Not here. Always perfect.
