“Stopped by this establishment because my normal breakfast spot was full to the gillz one particular morning. This establishment was pretty darn close to being full and seated us promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was spot on. I opted for the chicken and waffle which was hearty and sumptuous. While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“I got the Mongolian beef, extra spicy. It was tasty, but 85% rice, and was actually a little sweet not spicy. They merely threw more whole red chili's but nobody actually eats whole Chinese red chili's.

My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn't look like they doubled it.She said there's no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there's live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it's less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.“

“I see far too many people eating their experiences down to a parking lot. HELLO PEOPLE YOU ARE EATING THE PARKING LOT. The kind people in this restaurant put many hours into finding fresh ingredients and creating not only healthy but delicious food. Matter of fact I'm on my way there now.“

“Did not go inside, so cannot speak to that. The drive-thru is a Single Lane Drive thru. It does get very busy there as most In-N-Outs do. They do send someone outside to take orders from the cars waiting in line. And it all moves very quickly. Definitely on their game!“

“Got a fish sandwich was excellent. I ordered combo and when I picked the bag up I thought maybe they put a brick or something in there because it had more weight than you would expect from a fish sandwich and some fries. When I looked there was another bag inside with enough fries to feed Guatemala... the entire country of Guatemala! I already knew the fries were going to be high quality because who would put 20 lbs. Of shitty fries in an order?
Prices reasonable, seemed to have a large selection even though its named a burger place.
If in and out had fries like this place they would take over the whole world.
Based on what I got here and what I saw as I waited for my order I would recommend this place.“

It’s a unique setting and I can tell a lot of thought was put into designing a spot to have a locally brewed beer with great food while enjoying the great outdoors! Highly recommend!“
