“I’ve known Nova for over 15 years when she had her first location in Glendora. The food is out of this world. One thing to consider, she makes the good fresh so it’s not fast food. Give yourself 1hr prior to ordering for pick up.Also, if you want to dine in for lunch, call 1hr to order so that it will be ready upon your arrival. She is a small business and most being from passion. As with all things, there’s always room for improvement in processes. The Sisig is the best! The tofu sisig is good too. From the Kare Kare & the Crunchy Dinuguan.Love you Nova!“

“Food is good and fresh. This place is not your usual turo turo where food sits for hours. Food is cooked as they are ordered. Although the place is small, it can accommodate at least 12 people comfortably.“

“Patty's was very communicative and responded quickly to our emails about our wedding cake. They made a cake exactly to our specifications and it tasted divine! We got the banana cake with guava filling and cream cheese frosting, and we got so many compliments on the taste. I applaud Patty's and can't wait to eat more of the leftovers :)“

“Skewers were delicious. Flavors that reminded me of my childhood. Had a little bit of everything. Ukoy and the chicharron bulaklak were great. Kwek kwek was good too but who can say no to to quail eggs battered and deep fried. I'll try the bowls next time and maybe the crispy pasta or lechon.“

“For my first time eating at this establishment, I am satisfied with my experience. Positively, I did not have to wait long to be seated and receive my food. In particular, I ordered the curry beef lunch special with steamed rice. In regards to the curry beef, it came with chopped bell peppers and onions. From my perspective, it has a great combination of flavors along with the curry. Furthermore, the steamed rice complimented the dish well.“

“One best crispy pata in Southern California. Cripsy skin, soft meat, and it tastes very delicious. Vegetable sa gata consistently good. Owner need to put some effort on the Atmosphere. At least remove boxes and take out containers out of sight and fix restroom door with comb lock that is hard to open (have to ask waitress for combo but told me to just pull door hard with no apology - if they care). Need designer to update interior and exterior of restaurant. FilAm restaurant owners really need to level up their business in order to compete with other ethnic food restaurants.“

“Tasting burger. Freshly made. Bun lightly toasted and HUGGED the filling, like I like it. Spicy sauce gave it a nice kick. Half Dynmate Lumpia was meaty and was with beef instead of pork, which I like.“

“come for the music. don't eat the food. poor non-existent service. had to just go to the front and order after 30 mins after being told someone would come take our order at the table. had to return the wings because they were completely raw and the pizza was cardboard and tasteless. got our money back and just had drinks. can't screw up beer.“

“My first time at DJ's. I was craving for dinuguan and that's all I tried and I am happy to report that it was delicious. The ingredients they used (pork stomach and pig ears) were yummy. It had the right consistency and good flavor. I will go back to try the other dishes but I recommend the dinuguan!“

“Not gonna lie, the Turon with Ube Ice Cream is probably my FIRST experience with Filipino Umami. I mean, the experience of eating this dish was reminiscent of eating deep-fried ice cream“

“Manila Sunset never fails to impress with their delicious offerings. The bibingka is an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that truly ignite the taste buds. The sago’t gulaman, on the other hand, didn’t meet expectations, as it lacked the desired flavor balance. Despite that, Manila Sunset remains a go-to spot for its standout bibingka that’s sure to leave you craving for more.“

“I am very particular about Filipino restaurants. I tried some and swore never to come back to them but there are a few chosen ones that I know I would keep returning to and this is one of them. You could really feel the pride and love that people put into their work here at this place. It is not just some food factory where the ingredients are very minimal and taste is almost nonexistent. This place serves legitimate pansit. No wonder this small, humble and quaint place has stood the test of time.“

“Delicious lechon sisig. Straight meaty, fatty, umami taste - perfect combination with fresh white rice. Not the crispy nor spicy style. The meat bits were larger than other places. Fed 3 people for $13 (medium takeaway container + cooked our own rice).“
