“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.“

“I was visiting with my Mom the other day, and we were looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat. I am very glad we stopped here! They have a lot of choices, and we both ordered the mixed Hawaiian BBQ meals. It arrived in a disposable container, and it was full to the brim with meat, rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables. So delicious, and enough for both of us to take home for dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous, and most of all, delicious!“

“I love this place. Family owned and has an authentic flavor. I get the spam masubi when I want something simple. They have the good macaroni salad and the short ribs are really tasty. “Love Poke and this place has fresh fish and vegetables and I've been multiple times and it hasn't disappointed which says consistency - hard to find these days. It's the usual line up of choose your base: salad, brown or white rice or half/half and then proteins and add on's. Highly recommend coming out here to have a delicious poke on rice and salad.“

“Alohaus Poke Bar isn’t your typical poke bar, they also offer other Hawaiian goodies. The food is delicious and the staff members are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Alohaus and would gladly rate them 5 stars!“

“Great food and good service. Nobody ever seems to eat there just pickup. My go-to place for Hawaiian BBQ but they also make a cheeseburger and fries that are really good. Their prices are reasonable, especially because they serve very large quantities. Just a single plate is two meals for me and I'm a big eater. Highly recommend.“

“I’ve been to other Ohana’s it’s always been a good meal, this place isn’t any different.I just had 4 spam musubi’s and 2 chicken musubi’s. All were delicious and filling for the lunch hour. I weil suggest “easy rice” for less rice and the chicken/spam were cooked/sauced perfectly.I’d definitely come back and try their other menu items.“

“Best poke in the area! The bowls are fresh and reasonably priced. Tons of protein, topping, and sauce options. Having lived in Hawaii previously it’s also super cool to see our favorite drinks and snacks from the islands. Staff and owner are extremely kind too which is always an added bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out.“

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

They also clean the “ordering area” after each patron & tried to give me a refund for the amount of the dish I ordered! Their fried fish and shrimp plate looked amazing, but I just couldn’t eat it. “I’ve been looking for a poke place and happened to find this little place. Went there once and the gentleman was very nice and helpful in the selection. My husband and I tried it at home and it was spectacular! Came back today and they were so generous in the quantity. I could say the best poke place I’ve eaten! “What can I say, the food there is excellent. All the plates are affordable and you get a lot of food (tastes so yummy). The staff are polite, and respectful and the chefs are excellent. If you want some delicious Chinese Food or Hawaiian Grill, I highly recommend this establishment to everybody.“

“I rarely write reviews unless the experience was really bad or really good… This place is probably my favorite poke spot around now. Definitely coming here for my poke even though I live 20 mins away. Very nice people and generous. That’s how you get the people to come back. Thai tea was the best I’ve had (and I drink a lot of Thai tea). ?“

“Continuing to be the classic go-to spot for Hawaiian-style food, not only has a long-standing history, but its consistency is comforting. After all, they have some of the best Hawaiian macaroni salad around.

Whether you choose the Galbi, BBQ Chicken, or Kalua Pork the portions are big and offer a sharable value. The Katsu is also another good choice if something fried is what you prefer.

The bowls are a lighter affair, and I often have to pair it with an order of Musubi.

Pricing is under $20 thus not your typical fast food establishment.“

“I ordered a medium for $14.95 and the presentation was beautiful a good rectangular shape allowed all the flavors to stand out perfectly. On Sundays I got lucky there was $5 Sushi containers available for sale so we also got a special dinner“

“The place was empty, it is a small location but the food was delicious. The serving was great for the price. They have good selections of food. There is a 3% percent charge if you pay with a card so do keep that in mind if you go. There is plenty of parking so I recommend this place if you are near and craving Chinese food.“
