“Seriously, this place is a true find from the sandwich heavens.
They take such meticulous care with every sandwich, and everyone there is genuinely caring. I’ve already gone off the freeway twice just to come back and eat there again, and each time it’s been just as wonderful.
I had the Rib Roast the first time, man what a sandwich, good amount of meat that you can taste the flavor, tomato, layered on the entire bread kept it so moiost delicious. Then the Italian, swapping the salami for mortadella (a perfect switch). The sandwich is perfectly moist, tastey, full of flavor, loved it.
Oh, the lettuce, they do an entire side salad with dressing and put it on the sandwich, unreal. I appreciate this place and recommend it to everyone who cares about a great sandwich.“

“Truly a gem in the East Bay. It’s tucked away and easy to drive past (like I did the first time I went). They have a large variety on the menu ranging from pasta, to burgers, to Mexican food. I had the Jambalaya Cajun Pasta and my friend had Al Pastor tacos. The tacos were flavorful, and the pasta was very good and filling. Definitely recommend if you have a picky family and don’t want to make multiple stops for dinner.“

“Heck ya!! What a fabulous dining experience! It’s a cozy restaurant in downtown Martinez. Definitely recommend making reservation as this place can be super packed esp. during live music hours. Everything we ordered, from their daily specials, to locally sourced ingredients give you a farm to table kind of dining venture. The house cocktails are refreshing-ly good. If you have a sweet tooth, their in-house desserts to finish off your meal-perfect amount of sweetness! Can’t wait to be back for more!“

“Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don't worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.“

“So I have the cheeseburger and garlic fries. The garlic is not just a powdered sprinkled on it is actually handmade and put on the fries it is phenomenal. And the amount of fries they give you wow they're just over the top. The cheeseburger that I got had real beef. Not the stuff you see at McDonald's this is real beef like what you buy at your own barbecue at home. A cheeseburger and fry filled me up. The fries were crispy and not limpy like most other restaurants. When coming here you're going to get a quality meal. I'm going to be coming back here I hope you will too.“

“Had a wonderful breakfast here with my mom and daughter this week. I have lived in the area a long time and this is my first trip here. I I'm definitely returning. I had the fiest omelette, which comes with a side of sour cream, pico de gallo, and a wonderful medium hot sauce. It was a wonderful combination of tastes. The hash browns were perfectly golden and the toast was warm and buttered. My coffee cup was never empty and the service was really good. Love the wood interior It feels like a Tahoe restaurant. Good ambience and five. There are a few tables out front on the sidewalk. If you haven't been here you definitely should give it a try.“

“Our Kingsmen group meets here once a month for breakfast. The food, service and atmosphere is always excellent. Denise is Usually our server and does an excellent job ensuring that our food and drink orders are correct and piping hot (cold drinks cold). She is always pleasant and friendly in spite of our large group. Thank you Denise, all the cooks, and wait-staff for making Sukie’s Country Kitchen an Institution for our community.

“First time here, I ordered breakfast and everything was really great, I saw a lot of achievements that the owner hung on the wall and I saw a IHOP one on there and honestly this restaurant delivered past ihop, the food was hot and fresh and flavors didn’t lack not one bit! Portion size was really good too and they weren’t overpriced at all! My wife and I were full half way through our plates! Very friendly owner and the restaurant is snug but a vibe forsure! lol we finished our food so I don’t have pictures to show. This place was so good and we will be coming here as a regular now!“

From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... “We just had the most awesome breakfast at The Hangout in Martinez. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. It had just the right amount of crunchy spicy sweet goodness. Fast and friendly service.“

“Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.“
