“If you're around the area I would suggest visiting this cafe! They have fantastic service and their drinks are always top notch and literally made with love. I usually get their matcha latte or their seasonal drinks if it catches my eyes. Btw their cream topper is always so AMAZING, could literally drink it everyday haha They even sell flowers/plants! It's pretty unique since you can't really find cafes that sells them and they are all so pretty. Plus this cafe has their own merch too. Once I saw their pink tumbler I couldn't help but had to bought it ASAP, such a cute tumbler(The color was to die for)! “As a Taiwanese person who grew up in boba land, I can tell you that the boba milk tea is pretty good. It's more towards milky end instead of rich tea flavor ones. Their original recipe is not too sweet so there's no point to adjust the sweetness. Or just ask the owner to make his favorite ratio. You should totally give it a try. (I cannot endorse other items as I just tried one product)“

“The food was delicious. We ordered 2 chicken tender combos with Buffalo sweet potato fries and chocalte curly fries. They were so good and the chicken was so crunchy! I also got a blueberry lemonade which was also good. It didn't have blueberry chunks but did have lemon wedges.“

“I really wanted to like this place more, but unfortunately there were a few things that brought them down to 4 stars. First thing first, the drinks. I like to get the regular milk tea from these places to really assess their quality and taste. If you can get the basics right, you're a step ahead! So, got their Brown Sugar milk tea with boba and it was okay. Nothing spectacular. I want to give them another try because they have some very interesting flavors and options in their menu such as the Hokkaido creamer milk substitute and the Oreo series blended drinks. I give them props for their ingredients as you can watch them make the drinks right in front of you and they made everything fresh to order, no premixed teas or powders. Their decor and theme is quirky and fun. You can tell they put an effort to make the place catch your attention and everything looked clean and organized. Prices are reasonable and within the market value for this type of stuff. The ding for me was the limited seating inside and the smell. It's not nasty like "I need to get the H-E-double-hockey-sticks outta here!" type of smell, but definitely a bit off. I tried to come back and try another drink when I was waiting for my tacos from the other place next to them, but that smell threw me off again. A little ding for not having any snacks at all. Not even like cookies or prepackaged Japanese treats or something. Anyway, that's my take on this place.“

“I used to frequent Bambu growing up and all the ones in my area closed. I saw this spot next to the restaurant I was having dinner at and knew I was going to be getting dessert from here. If I just hadn't had a pasta dinner, I would have ordered a Chewy Pandan but I knew that would be too filling so I opted for the Jelly Coco. The Jelly Coco is coconut water based instead of coconut milk so it's more refreshing and lighter. It fruits (coconut, lychee, longan) and fun pandan and basil seed bits. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely be returning to try the Chewy Pandan. Service was quick! We were there arounf 30 minutes before closing and although there were a few people who ordered ahead of us, we still got our drinks fairly quick. The inside has very few seating so I would'nt hangout there for too long.“

“I was in the same plaza and I was craving boba, so I decided to try this place out. The decoration is really cute and matches the aesthetics of their drinks. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The cashier was friendly and answer all the questions I had about the drinks and the sweetness levels. I got the Blinking Passion Fruit Planet 50% with grass jelly. This was the perfect sweetness for me as the drink also came with popping boba. The total for one drink came out to be over $8, which I don't think it was worth it for a basic passion fruit green tea. My experience here was overall good, but not a go-to. They are open late which is a plus.“

“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. The physical menu shows the item order actually cheaper than what is posted on their website. Order place for pork and bamboo meal - menu shows 15.99 and online shows 17.59... The owner did reach out to communicate when placing an order to either call in or simply order in person as it is a 3rd party site utilize to placing orders.. so an FYI For the food! (Also note when placing the order online pickup time will literally be close to the minute stated on order) Boba, teas, meals, and appetizer - large variety !!! “If you want quality tea, this is the place to come. We tried the Jinxuan oolong tea which I highly recommend if you want a taste of genuine Taiwanese tea while imagining you are strolling down the iconic night markets, sipping on fragrant oolong tea paired with the signature blend black tea jelly. I also had their Taiwanese milk tea with sesame jelly which will be my regular drink every time I visit. What I also enjoy about Hechalou is that I can drink this tea regularly and buy multiple drinks and store it in my fridge because I live quite far. The jelly is very tasty even the next day, unlike other tea places that focus primarily on boba. I frequent chi cha and orobae and this will definitely be my new go to! Yes, expect some lines. And yes, people will complain about the lines but it is 1000% worth the wait.“
