“This is a tiny counter with serious espresso. The cappuccino art is consistently pretty, but I stay for the cheddar scallion biscuit—flaky with a soft interior. There’s a shaded sidewalk bench that’s prime for people-watching on Glendale Blvd. They remember regulars’ orders, which feels old-school. Great pit stop before hiking up to the reservoir loop“

“This Latina woman–owned coffee shop is such a hidden gem. From the outside it might look a little rough, but step inside and you’ll be greeted with the warmest service and the most delicious food. “I wanted to try out this cafe since I was in the area. It's located in front of a busy intersection in a small plaza with free parking so it can be easy to miss if you're not actively searching for it. However, once you go inside, the interior is so cute, clean, and minimal!

I ordered the einspanner (whole milk) and a croffle. The drink was really good, not too sweet, and pretty strong! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The croffle was warmed up for me and came out the same time as they called for my drink which I thought was a nice touch. It was sweet and slightly sticky where small bits would be stuck to my teeth but overall delicious.“

“Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

“My favorite coffee spot in LA. Their Vienna latte is top tier but my favorite drink is the buttercream latte. It literally tastes like a werther’s caramel. The parking lot is TINY but there are meters around. The shop is also small with just 3 tables so it really is more of a grab and go place than a hang out.“

The only thing I would change Is the coffee ratios - I think the flat white has too much milk but that's a small point (I don't know what the espresso to milk ratios are in their other drinks). Maybe an ounce or two less milk would be good? I am really glad I found this place.“

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

“What a lovely little coffee shop! I had the sweetened cloud matcha, and it was perfect. The sweetness level was just right. The place itself is small, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs right outside. It's located in a green space gap between buildings. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area!“

“We had minced pork on rice, beef noodle soup, Dan Dan noodles, basil eggplant, pork belly bun, shaved ice and dou hua.
Overall, the food is pretty good. With some fine tunes, it can be closer to the yummy level of food in Taiwan, like some red beans in dessert are still hard, Dou Hua is too dry and needs some liquid or shaved ice to go with it, traditional shaved ice is too sweet though I like it much better than Korean style shaved ice, and brown rice is too hard. Service is good. Staff is nice. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Order at the counter, self service for water, extra bowls and utensils.
We live in the west side, and we will come back to try other stuff on the menu.“

“Initially I was skeptical of Onething coffee because it just recently opened, but I am so glad that I took the risk. I was really pleased by the recommendation the baterista gave me. The male baterista recommended that I get a Korean Black Raspberry Ade. It's sour-sweet almost tasting like traditional Korean tea. This is going to be my new daily shop to stop by before work.“

I think this is a good causal place to chat with friends, but not the type to specifically go there for the coffee.

All in all I reccomend going on a weekday where the lines are shorter and there's less people and itll be a very enjoyable experience. I do wish they would expand the drink menu and perhaps add some seasonal drinks.“

Wish they had more seats for hanging out/ taking care of any life admin you may have. It was a really peaceful and good environment for being productive. “Another trendy coffee spot in Koreatown. I got an einspanner cold brew which was really good if not a bit on the weaker side for coffee. My friend said the matcha here is pretty decent. Drinks are pretty pricey, hovering between $6 and $9. Expect a 15-20 minute wait here.“

“LAITH'S Café! The food is amazing! It is 5 star Mediterranean food in an almost hidden corner. Laith is a top quality businessman, and you can sense his passion for his product. I enjoyed a beef Sharma plate and sampled all three of the suggested sauces. All the sauces are fresh and tasty. I ate them all! I really enjoyed the garlic sauce and highly recommend it. Laith's Café also makes its own assorted fresh fruit health juices, and markets fine coffees mixed with cardamon, cacao, and dates from family farms in Jordan. For authentic Mediterranean qusine and exotic flavors from the ancient world, Laith's Café is your place, Laith's Cafe is a hidden gem one must visit.“

“Even though this place is located right across from Forest Lawn, this place is super cute! Love the simple and clean look. My husband and I couldn't decide so we ordered 3 entrees. Lol! We had the Ham and Cheese Croissant, the Katsu, and the Avocado Toast. I love that the croissant on the sandwich was soft and flaky, but also had some sort of honey glazed on top. It complemented the ham really well. My husband also enjoyed how simple the avocado toast was with the ricotta. It was nice to have salad sides for both options, especially nutrient dense salads like arugula salad and spring salad. The katsu was nice and crispy, however, we were stuffed so we had to take it to go. It was still delicious hours laters. As for drinks, my husband couldn't decide between the Oat Black Sesame Latte or Iced Biscoff latte. The Iced Biscoff Latte was good, but he enjoyed the Black Sesame Latte better. I loved my Iced Strawberry Matcha. They also have pastries and goodies available for purchase. There's plenty of seating and space between each table to where it's not claustrophobic. There's a bathroom available for customers. I would definitely love to come back. My husband and I really enjoyed this spot!“
