“I’ve only ever ordered for delivery, but they’ve never failed me. I’ve tried so many Thai places, and this is my favorite one. My go-to’s are the pad se ew and the broccoli in oyster sauce. Their chili crisp oil is divine, and I wish I could buy a whole jar of it. I’m looking forward to dining in person soon.“

“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“Sooooo good!!! I had my reservations as I love Thai food and it’s hard to find Thai food as good as what you have in Thailand, but this place is it!! I don’t know where to start because everything was so good!! We had the pork jerky, prad ka prow with chicken & egg, phat see ew flat noodle, fried tofu, and the noodle soup- with egg noodle. The broth was delicious, the flavors very layered without being overwhelming, the ambience is very welcoming. As a family, we definitely would come back again. Next time, I’ll try the curry ❤️😌“

“Food was good. The chicken wings were crispy and fresh. Noodles and broth tasted very well and good seasoned. The staff were all amazing and accommodating. My grandmother was not feeling well, and one of the staff gave her medicine making her feel better. Overall 10/10; have to go for authentic Thai food.“

I got the Thai Boat Noodle Soup and it was flavorful and rich but slightly salty. It had lots of meat pieces and I liked the pho noodles. The portion was perfect for filling me up, but I don't eat that much.
My wife liked the tofu green curry. It was very lemon grassy.

“First time going here. I got the Beef Drunken Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. When I tell you both dishes had so much flavor and they give you big portions. “I finally remembered to try this place. It didn't disappoint. Everything was made fresh to order. The veggies were crisp and tender. The shrimp were nice and plump. The Tom Yum was zesty and flaming.
It's a nice place for friends, family, or a casual date. It's not fancy. You order before you're seated.
The prices are just about the same as most Thai restaurants. Which bothered me a little since we had to stand in line to order.
But overall, it's a great place! It was yummy! It's was peaceful.“

The Wings of Angel were exceptional. The batter nice and crispy and they came out HOT.

Authentic flavors and quick and friendly service, though English is limited. Tiny space, so there can be a wait if you come at the wrong time. Parking is tough. A bit pricey at around $40 per person ($25-30 if you go light), but worth it if you’re craving that duck! Would come back if I'm passing by.“

“Tub Tim Siam on Hillhurst is a small, family-owned Thai restaurant with a lot of heart. It’s run by a really sweet older lady who takes care of everything herself, so the service is very slow — but worth the wait if you’re not in a rush. I ordered Tom Kha chicken soup for my son since he was feeling under the weather. He loved it. Then ordered Krapow over rice for me. It was sooo good. Spicy but great flavor.
