“Corner taco stand. Simple yet delicious. How a true taco should be. Ordered asada & suadero. Both good but Asada was way better. I’m used to the suadero being deep fried in the oil but it seemed it was actually more of a broth. Suadero meat was then seared/ fried on the grill. Still good though but not Mexico City suadero tacos good“

“It's a street stand, so as far as atmosphere goes, it's what one would expect from a street vendor (no seating available). However, Alejandra's quesadillas are by far the best I've ever had in Los Angeles. And I'm from Mexico City.“

“Bombest burrito in LA. He brings professional hospitality to the street taco game. First time I stopped by after a long early morning shift at a coffee cart and I was greeted as I walked up. He walked me through their offerings. I wanted to try their al pastor but was too hungry for a couple tacos so I ordered it as a burrito and man, amazingly tasty. He has a flat top grill and grills the burritos *chef's kiss. I'm all for street tacos of all kinds in LA but I'd venture to say this is the cleanest operation I've been to. He takes cash but also venmo or Zelle and has all that easily accessible. Ordered a carne asada burrito this evening and it's truly ministering to me“

“Very unassuming place. It looks modest and you would never guess how phenomenal the food is! Everything is freshly made. Hand cut folded wrapped prepped you got it. Best tacos I've tasted on this side of the border. Seating and parking is limited.“
“Truck #2 in Tifton (Tuesday) was so good!! The lady working was so nice and the food was absolutely delicious. The frozen lemonades are my favorite!“

“Best tacos ACTUALLY! Family owned and very kind folks. Had 2 carne asada and 1 chicken tacos. The tortillas were fire and the meat sooo delicious. You also get to put your own toppings and they have guac as an option (not as an expensive add on). So yummy!“

“I was told this place was good by a group of friends. I was invited to a Torta with Carne Asada and was very impressed by the quality. It's very authentic food , flavor packed Mexican food a 2am hits different.
I definitely want to go back!
The area is a little tight and parking isint the best and it is a little sketchy at night around there“

“I’m a New Yorker who worked for years in a pizzeria, I take my pizza seriously. Elio’s is real pizza! The ingredients, flavor, and variety are why I can’t visit LA without stopping to grab a pie.“

“I actually came here by accident while looking for a different taco spot, but I’m really glad I did. The reviews caught our attention, so we decided to give it a try—and it did not disappoint.
It’s a really unique twist on tacos, with a pastrami-style concept that you don’t see often, and they absolutely pulled it off. Everything was delicious. We ordered the Picante, which was great, but I’ve got to say—the Rickster looked incredible. It had that Thousand Island-style dressing and honestly looked like a must-try next time.
Definitely recommend checking this place out. It’s something different, and totally worth it.“

“The food was very good but the service efficiency was very low. I hadn't gone to eat for a while and now that they moved to Calle Paloma, the waitress service was not efficient at all. I spent about 30 minutes waiting for them to take my order and they never did and I better end up leaving.“

“This is a great example of how LA street mexican food culture is like.
This place has one of the best pastor tacos in LA. Their meats are well seasoned and are not dry. Their salsas have great flavor and heat.
The lines can be long but it is worth the wait. You just can't beat this place when it comes to taste, quality, and price.“

“I hired Sierra Guisados (Lucy and fam) to cater my mom’s retirement party this summer and I couldn’t be happier with their service, food, and set-up. They were on time and professional and everything from the beans, rice, salsas, aguas, and tacos was so authentic and delicious. Everyone loved it!
If you are visiting their pop-up arrive early for the vegetarian options 🤤“
“I’ve been dying to try these haunt dogs since I came across them on Instagram! I finally located the frankenstand this last weekend ! It was definitely well worth the wait ! The toppings were delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the ambience of his stand gave it some spooky vibes which I absolutely love !!! The crazy part is, I’m not even vegan, and I would choose these forever snd ever. My friends were also very pleased with their dogs as well. They even bought some to go for later ! They also loved the vibes and Ray was freakn awesome to talk to ! I’ll definitely stalk his next location and be back for more !!!! The entire experience was absolutely perfect !!!“

“12/10 service, 12/10 food. 5 stars doesn't even do it justice. If you're on the fence, make the jump!
4100 isn't a typical spot for me on a Sunday, but it definitely will be now that I know Nugtown will be there.
I've worked in the service industry and done local food reviews for 10 years across Detroit, Denver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. This is one of the standout spots, hands down. That is saying A LOT.
Hand battered chicken, everything made to order, and Mike will let you know exactly what you need without trying to upsell and swindle you.
I take my food, specifically fried chicken, very seriously and there is not one thing that I could suggest to improve. I can't wait to tell everybody!
Thank you, Mike!!“
“Warm service! Birds are chirping and it's beautiful here. If you are curious to ask about the church, they are helpful about that. No pressure, though. Also, donation based drinks. I could have really used a free drink, but I also can't do that!“

“Not even gonna lie. Some of the best tacos I've had here. The chicken wasn't pretty but it was dang sure good. It was for sure up to par with the pork. The pork was that crispy cook too, but they could cook it how u like. Where im for sure sold is that the tacos are cheap. I've noticed the price rise over the years. Another plus goes to the location. I believe if they aren't there, or right next to them this dude makes these mash potato meat and veggie bowls in the potato. Im telling you, you really have to check out the food on the street. Both the tacos and the potatoes. Last thing, they weren't those little tacos either. Nah, these tacos got gains. Please don't miss out.“
“Love it so much
Honestly, that’s the only spot I buy food from 2 times a week
I tried everything at this night market and this is the best !
Will stick to FatWolf no matter what 🫡🔥“

“Been going there for last 10 years Specializes strictly in pork tacos out of home garage only on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Pork skin, pork roast, and buche. All boiled. Ample meat on tacos, also sells in bulk. Go early usually sold out around noon. Best in town.“

“This has to be the best burrito I’ve had in SoCal. It’s a great concept to give the customer the open burrito to put in toppings of my choice and amount, then give it back for the employees to perfectly wrap up.
I got the asada and tripa burrito as well as an al pastor and pineapple mulita. All of it was cooked perfectly and with large portion sizes and great prices.
I will happily make the hour trip just to stop here again. This place should get an award.“

“One of the best Taco stands on the west side. And the west side as you know, is the best side. I usually eat there, love the tables, and the whole neighborhood. The staff is so nice they feel like family and all the tortillas are pressed and cooked fresh.“

“We had a burrito recommended by the chef and the Birria plate. Both delicious and service was very quick and friendly. Nowhere to sit in the immediate area which isn’t their fault of course. We sat across the street at the shaded bus station and managed just fine :)“

“As close as it gets to Mexico City street tacos without eating eating Mexico City street tacos. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Our tacos were so flavorful that I forgot to squeeze lime in mine and my husband forgot to put salsa in his. We ended up getting more to go. If we didn’t live all the way on the other side of the US, we would be back for sure. We had the al pastor tacos, queso birria tacos, and consomé.“

“Going to every taco truck/stand in the area to find my favorite. I’ve only been to 5 so far but this one is winning. I only get carne asada so that’s what I’m basing my judgement on, can’t speak for the rest, but if it’s anything like the asada then I’m sure it is fire.“

“(Translated by Google) Rich carnitas tacos, very well served, well filled, the extra a golden tortilla to accompany it.(Original)Ricos tacos de carnitas, muy bien servidos bien llenitos, el extra una tortilla doradita de acompañamiento.
Parking: Es una lonchera, las mesas y sillas están sobre la banqueta por lo tanto el estacionamiento es en la callé, donde se pueda.“
“$1.50 taco Tuesday. The red sauce is fiery spicy and delicious. I like that they have the onion and cilantro and sauces in bags/wrapped up so it’s not just sitting out exposed to the environment.
They have 8 plastic chairs so better to pick up and go.
Writing this while waiting for the tacos. Will update re taste“
“I found Alice Pupuseria at a night market in downtown LA. I ordered two mixed pupusas and they are some of the best I had in my life. Additionally my order was ready within ten minutes despite there being a moderate line. If you're a pupusa fan like me check them out!“
“I just ordered from Dante Fried Chicken Ghost Kitchen in Koreatown, and wow the chicken was beautifully piping hot and incredibly juicy. You can tell they've brined it just right, the buttermilk soak really shines through. Definitely one of the most tender bites of fried chicken I've had. It lives up to its buzz!“
“Although Tacos Gavilan is a chain, I have to give them kudos with consistency. You can go to any of their 14 SoCal locations and expect to get the same great flavor, size and customer service. The al pastor burrito slaps and is super flavorful, pair it with a hint of lemon and salsa, goooodness! They are reasonably priced and offer taco Tuesdays! Inside is always clean and service fast! Give them a try if you ever pass by one! Pre-covid they offered an amazing salsa bar, where one can get cilantro, onions, pickled jalapeno and carrots, radish and salsas. This time around I visited the drive thru but a few months back the salsa bar still wasn’t open.“
“The chorizo tacos are FUEGO. Iwould definitely recommend this small joint.its got sort of a mom and pop vibe which I love. If u haven't tried this place then you are missing out Goood prices check Great foodcheck Amicable staffcheck I specifically loved that everything was freshly made none of that pre made bs that other street vendors do“
