“Service:Kristy was absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning. I wanted to make my mom's birthday special with a nice cake, and Kristy was very patient with working with me. She was very helpful with sending in possible designs for the cake before we settled for this. She made pick up very smooth. Flavor:The cake was yummy! It was refreshing to eat and not too sweet. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and tart all together. I enjoyed the crust of the cake because it paired well with the yuzu cream.“

“Thick crust with tons of flavor, with a crispy initial crunch then a soft chewy bread party with lots of air bubbles and oil. Toppings are fabulous. A few vegetarian options exist. The cakes, cream pies, and cookies are equally special. This is a memorable pizza place that you'll talk about for weeks and think about for the rest of the year. $6-8 per smallish 6 inch square slice -- two is typical. Tables for eating in are few and hard to get (waiting for a few hours is not unlikely). Lines are long for take out. Minimal street parking. Friendly and kind service. “Got an iced double espresso and pain au chocolat. Literally had goosebumps the second the coffee hit my tongue, not sure what espresso they use but it’s excellent. Pain au chocolat was excellent as well. No clue how they are able to only be open 6 hours 3 days a week but it’s worth stopping by, expect a line.“

“We stumbled upon this bakery and got tempted with the 'Hong Kong' style baked goods. We were there around 2:30pm and by then most baked items were sold out. There were a few egg custard tarts left so we took the 'buy 5 and get 1 free' offer. And I must say they are legit HK egg custard tarts ! “Love this bakery and visit it at least twice sometimes three times a week! Love the coffee danish bread, not too sweet. Just right and a little crunchy. I buy the walnut bread for sandwiches which is not like any other bread I've ever had. Makes a sandwich that much better. Love the little crunch from the walnuts. Jin there is. Sweetheart and always greets you with a smile. The little thin disk cookies with I believe almonds are so delish I buy two bags each time I go. I am addicted to this place and hate the weekends cause I always go in on my way to work.“

“This was my first time here and I'm super impressed! From the outside of the building to the clean and bright inside, it was a treat coming here. I got an assortment of pastries and desserts and I wasn't disappointed with any of my choices. I couldn't tell you the names of the desserts I took home except for the baklava but picking them out just based on how delicious they looked was definitely exciting and fun. I love trying new things, especially other culture's food and Le Gout doesn't disappoint when it comes to their desserts. I'll have to come back for the food, it all looked very good. I often get just a baguette, but when I am feeling something sweet, I'll get there Nutella donut, yuzu saboro, red velvet cake, or when it's the season, their mini pumpkin pies are my favorite.They are right next to a busy Hmart and can have the indoor seating be full of older people, which can definitely lessen the vibe, but I honestly take my pastries to go every time. Not sure if there's one line for baked goods and one line for coffee or if anyone can help-- confusing in a small setting. “Greeted kindly from the second I walked in! The lovely ladies working there today (Wednesday) late morning/early noon made my experience worth the drive! Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! “This spot has been open for a while and I never tried it until today. I recently went to Paris and I loved the bakeries there so I decided to try this bakery which is very close to my house. “Its right in the corner. Its small but they have all kind of sweet bread. Had a craving. Plus the Birote/ Bonilla looked soon good. [ It was soo crunchy and soft from the inside. Ate it by itself????]. It wasn't packed. It was recommended so I had to go. The Lady who was there was Real Sweet--->no Pun intended. So Great Customer service. Sweet Bread was Real good to. Every bread has a unique name... special ones made Fri sat sun like this one it's so delicious it's some sort of rice pudding in the middle the tastes it's so delightful fluffy chewy not too sweet no one makes better bread than this bakery I go Sundays for this special one it's called "el TORCANTE "try it you won't regret awesome prices they even have big gallons of milk and coffee on the go I wish they can make a atole that would rock the guy that works there is supper humble and very nice ...“

“The downtown location is surprisingly clean and their baked goods and pastries are fresh. They appear to have a regular clientele who stops in on their way to work or class. On the weekdays anyway. They probably sell through their products faster maintaining their freshness. This is a takeout only location. No seating at all. Grab and go. It's nearby several downtown hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Hotel Per La, as well as several colleges. Staff is friendly and efficient. They keep the location clean and tidy. I have observed them handling difficult people, who are not customers, but who walk in off of the streets, with grace and kindness when the situation needs to be addressed. This is a small, but mighty location. People who work, live, go to school or visit downtown L.A. are lucky to have it as a choice among several Starbucks. Parking is a challenge. Metered street parking and a few parking garages are available.“

My recommendations: PALABOK family platter (good for 3 to 4) - must drizzle with lemon juice before eating so you maximize savoring the flavor; SANS RIVAL cake, MANGO Cake, EMPANADA, ENSAYMADA, and of course, HALO-HALO. Service is OK. Ambience: quiet, likelihood to have "high traffic" of customers on certain times and days. I forgot to take photos because I'd consume everything before remembering I needed to "memorialize" my food.“

“I ordered this for delivery through Grubhub. I chose the Chicken Caesar Baguette sandwich. It has a nice spring mix, the mixed chicken Caesar, tomatoes, dijon mayonnaise, and all on their baguette. This was way better than I expected. I understand that these are not made on the spot and are premade in the morning. That does not even matter to me because the sandwich was good from the first bite to the last. The baguette was great. Not chewy, still crunchy from the crust and soft on the inside with great flavor overall. I wish bacon was an option; I think that would take this to make it perfect for me. Paris Baguette has been becoming my favorite go to place for sandwiches, coffee, and pastries (their cheesecake is fantastic) and other goodies. I could not recommend them more than I already do for someone looking for a quick bite to eat that doesn't break the bank. Will continue to order and come here.
