“Apparently during mondays they have jiro ramen/miso ramen only, and during wed-sun they have chicken ramen and tsukemen only. I didn't know of this until i asked the waiter for clarification. Nevertheless, the jiro ramen is genuinely authentic, and i loved how the vegetables complimented the fatty and rich broth with the thick noodles. I would definitely come here again if i can.“

“This place is excellent service and it's like a super market and have fresh fish, lobster and any kind of sea food. This place has fresh sushi made there and all kinds of variety. They also have a eatery that's reasonable prices and they also have all meat and they weigh it by the pound and it's fully cooked. All the vegetables and fruit are always fresh. If you love Asian food this is the place to get everything you need. They also have stuff for woman and all the products that they need to take care of themselves. They also have a place for the kids and toys are all Japanese made. They also have a section that has hard liquor and beer of all kinds. I would recommend this place to everyone to go. It's the best experience and the people are very respectful to the customers.“

“Yummy little Ramen spot! The food was really tasty! The best was the crispy rice spicy tuna! I could have eaten 10 of them! Its a cute tiny spot, most of the seating doesn't have a back rest. The service was just alright, could be better. They do charge a 17 percent service fee, which in place of a tip. I honestly prefer it, no need to figure out a tip!“

“‘Tis the season for sick kids. Ramen is the perfect meal to kick a cold or flu. I ordered three of the Tori Miso Ramen which has chicken in chicken broth With noodles and fresh vegetables. I also ordered the Katsu chicken and the Karaage chicken. Delicious!!! The staff was friendly and helpful and the wait was about 10 to 12 minutes with everything made fresh.“

There is a regular menu and a fully vegan menu, and the vegan options are delicious! Their vegan ramen broth is smooth and savory with many flavors to enjoy. “Me and my son went for dinner!! It was our 1st time, we absolutely loved it!!! My husband and I always walk by, but had never been. The next time, I'm taking him inside to eat, he would love it!!
I had the Spicy Miso Soup and my son had the vegetable Miso soup and we had the Kanage chicken, Japanese style fried chicken and the pot stickers. Everything was very good!! Can't wait to go back! Our server, He was great and very friendly.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Very friendly service. This place gets really busy on a Friday and Saturday evening and the staff handles it wonderfully. Food is also very good, one of a few places that serve kizami wasabi. Our favorites include the beef udon, energy roll and the sashimi platter.

Drink specials always on point. Plenty of parking.“

The fish itself was high quality and handled well, and it seems like they make their own wasabi and pickled ginger - both were super fresh and did not taste like they came pre-packaged. “I love the vegan gyozas and the tonyu flame ramen. It has a good spice and great flavor. I had a friend try the non spicy one and she said there’s not a lot of flavor. The tonyu curry is also delicious. I probably get ramen from here twice a month. The only issue I have is when I get take out the order is wrong some of the times. So if you’re getting take out I recommend checking it before you leave. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-18“

“Tasty ramen and fried rice. Takoyaki was so good we almost thought it was freshly made. Stir fry vegetables good too. Run by Japanese operators. Service and food was prompt on a busy weekday lunch hours. Oh, and I love their beautiful Japanese ceramic plates.“

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

“Found this place randomly searching for a local Japanese style restaurant and found this Gem. Tried their Chicken Curry plate as it seemed to be there go to with their BOGO promotion. The curry had a phenomenal and savory taste. I'd recommend Level 3 Spice level as it is a great blend of flavor and spice. If you're interested in having great Japanese Curry this is the spot. I also tried their potato croquette which was exquisite I ate it immediately and took a photo part way 🤣 into eating. I also have their Strawberry Matcha Latte which was a great blend and tasted perfect. Definitely coming back to try the Curry Omelet variety. This is a great spot to come with friends or if you just want to enjoy some great Japanese food solo.“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

Next the food, I got the chicken soy ramen on recommendation of the server. Great kinda sweet soy flavor. Ramen was perfect, soft but firm.
Wife got the tonkatsu ramen. Broth had rich flavor, again noodles perfect.
Tried this as a new spot.
Definitely will return.

“Smaller than expected but I enjoyed the food! I got the: Chicken Karaaga Bowl. The chicken was jucy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. I liked how they added ginger to it and really complements the dish. They also have Soy Sauce and Gyoza Sauce on the tables to add if needed. Really enjoyed the meal and I had the large size. Is also very wallet friendly.“

“First time at this Yoshiharu, we use to go to Whittier but we recently moved to this city closer to our home. The food is amazing!! Super flavorful. The employees are great but there is one guy in particular who really made our food experience amazing. He greets the guest. His name is Chef Raymond (Chef Riot). Love how he runs the kitchen smoothly and how he cooks with passion. He actually asked us if we are enjoying the food & that made us feel super welcomed. Love it!! Thank You Yoshiharu. “Poke was pretty good, could've used more sauce though. But the portions are really good compared to what we get where we live and the prices are even better. The medium is even bigger than the large we usually order in Elk Groven and $5 cheaper. We ordered on the kiosk and didnt realize we could just walk up to the counter and order there which would have been better for us since it was our first time there.“

“I often come here with my girlfriend when it's cold. The food has good portions and is always nice and hot. I'm not quite sure why many of the reviews are hating on the cashier lady. Never had a bad experience with her, she doesn't talk much but is friendly if spoken to. Overall I enjoyed the food. Been coming here many years and will continue to do so.“
