“This is the place to be when you're hungry. Good food, Large portions too. Good staff. Even the staff in the kitchen will help seat you when the host is not available. That was good PR service skills.My wait was about 2 minutes before I was escorted to a nice table.Recommend the chicken salad and/or the chicken sandwich with fries. Eat half & take the rest home in a box.I'd recommend breakfast/lunch. Dinner is nice, but I wait for those nights when Prime Rib is served.The building Diamond Springs Hotel is a historical building, which I enjoy 1800's/historical buildings.Especially if they're known to be haunted. Not saying that this building is, but I enjoy historical buildings.I was told upstairs is generally used for storage. I have yet to tour the entire building, of course, when they're not too busy.Restrooms are clean.Parking is good.This place is worth a revisit.“

“The food here is absolutely amazing!!!!! I had lemon thyme risotto with Scallops, my husband the Salmon. We had calamari for appetizer, and banana foster for dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly. The scallops were so tender and fresh. The ambience was nice, and I thought the drink selection was great. They do have kids menus if you want to bring your kids. It's probably the best food we have had in a while. Service was spot on. I highly recommend going here. It is a gem in the middle of nowhere, lol.“

“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.“

“We've probably been there dozens of times since our last review, but it's time to reassure everyone that The Brick Oven Pub in Placerville California is still one of our "go to" places! It is a wonderful blend of a neighborhood pub and a family friendly restaurant. The food is excellent, the beer and wine selection is broad, and the entire staff is bright, sharp, friendly and attentive. After all of these years (since the day it opened), The Brick Oven Pub retains the coveted "Ben & Gigi Gay Seal of Approval"! Give it a try!“

“the breakroom is such a great option in the area! awesome food, great service, and an awesome local beer menu. they're in construction for a full bar too! it's a great place for families as there's a full arcade and even a photobooth to entertain the kiddos. dart boards and pool tables for the big kids at heart! tons of parking as it's in a shopping center, and plenty of outside seating for the warmer days! love that we have breakroom in the area.“

“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.“

“Visitng town and family recommended The Forester for dinner. From them, I found out the history of the Past and Present of the restaurant. The old location, the new and still shifting into full gear in some parts. Noting they are getting the flow going, sometimes felt a little hectic, but there were so many redeeming points. My favorite was having a small conversation with Helen after dinner. Bill she mentioned you as well! I had the Jagersnitzel w Kraut and Dumpling w Gravy. If you've experienced true German food before. You can appreciate this food greatly. The dumpling was spectacular, the pork was juicy while breading was soaking in the greatness from the mushroom gravy. We only visit a couple times of year and will make this a staple. “It seems like the atmosphere would change based upon what you look like. The server wasnt really hospitable, however the female bartender had excellent service. I had the salmon with asparagus and a roce cake. Delicious!! I wish i remembered which drinks i had but both were great, not watered down and you can tell the bartender takes her craft seriously.“

Food isn't the top of their list, but we were told we could bring outside food in if we wanted. Sounded like they have food service on one of the weekend days. We will be back to hang out again.“

“What a lovely accident. I was passing through and stopped to grab a bite to eat. On a Tuesday, I was able to walk in and be seated right away. Was met by great staff who was very kind and welcoming. The ambiance was set as a charming farmhouse. And the star of the experience was the food. It was fresh and well seasoned. I munched on the Cajun chicken sandwich, with a couple of modifications. I had the spicy jalapeno cheddar sausage sandwich and my husband had the loaded baker (potato ?). His potato was huge. He couldn't eat it all. “We stumbled upon this cute shop as we were walking down Main Street Placerville. We wanted something to quench the thirst without sugar! This was the place! I had their Lavender Green Tea iced no sweetener and a mini egg burrito. It's very small so perfect for a snack. Only bummer was there was hardly any egg, mostly potatoes and sausage. Nice mild salsa gave it the flavor it needed. I would recommend but maybe ask for extra egg? Service was quick and friendly! I would definitely come back!“

“Priscilla is a wonderful waitress, she always takes such good care of my friends and myself. She is so attentive and thorough. We always take up the whole back area tables, and she gives us individual bills which definitely helps. It's a fun place with juke box music and a great place for any meal or occasion. Definitely recommend if you haven't been!Parking: Easy to find a spot right out front of the diner.“

“This burger joint is close to my home, so I have been a regular consumer. One favorite was the Chinese Chicken salad. Their limited hours makes it tough to eat there. They take no orders after 6:30 pm and close the indoor seating early as well. Recently, they raised their prices significantly. At these rates I would rather eat at a nicer place such as the Tap House or Brick Oven Pub.“
