“Amazing atmosphere and amazing bartender I believe her name was Anita. Or maybe Amy? Either way I had an amazing time with my friend and I ordered two drinks of a Vodka Sprite and Lime Juice. The Lime(babe were gonna love tonight) juice was freshly squeezed two to three times and it was amazing!!! Thank You so Much!!Grand iNN!!!“
“ITS A REALLY COOL, CHILL SPOT TO HAVE A FEW BEERS AT. THE BARTENDER LADY IS THE BEST. SHE IS ON TOP OF WHATEVER IT IS THAT SHE HAS TO DO. MY BROTHER AND WILL GO EVERY OTHER WEEK. I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. She brings in a collective of different patrons all friendly Never once not felt safe when I am there It’s a shame the other Bartenders at this places sister establishment in Covina were as well Trained as Rosie. Or even new had to make a drink Tina’s Tavern Thursdays Hands down the place to be“

“As a dive bar kinda guy, this place really resonates with me. Love that the pours are good (Sara at least) and cheap - $5 for a well whiskey sour or a full pour of wine, $7 for call whiskey rocks. Cash only which is OK, just know ahead of time. And went there last night with my daughter for a quick drink before dinner - loud, obnoxious drunk group of sketchy dudes in the booth beside us. Lots of cussing and vulgarity which is fine with me but it was loud enough to be distracting and the bartender didn't really do or say anything to them, which may have been uncomfortable and awkward so I get it.“

“We have dined here a couple of times when we come back to visit family. We are never disappointed. The food is quite good. Portions are on the larger size, so expect to have leftovers to bring home (or just go nuts and indulge).
However, the dinning room is comparatively small and not intimate. That isn't that big of a deal, but you should be aware of it going in. I would recommend a reservation if dining later in the evening. If you arrive earlier, they can usually seat you.
Parking is on the street (but that is par for the course in Sierra Madre), but be prepared to have to drive around a little to find a spot.
The only negative was on our last visit. The front of house was clearly understaffed. The one waiter was doing double duty as the bar tender. So, speed of service was not on the menu.
A solid choice for dining and will we will undoubtedly visit again.“

“I just love this place. Since like forever. I love how it can be 100 degrees outside but you step inside and it’s a cozy winter cabin. I really only come here for the salad and bread but I will say I’ve had the small steak the last couple visits and it’s amazing.“

“My first visit definitely won’t be my last! Had a fun night drinking with my friends, great music, employees from the bartenders to the security were all friendly but professional. Also lost my wallet there but it was turned in by one of the employees, appreciate their honesty. Highly recommend!“

“This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.“

“I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.“
