“Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had! I ordered the beef lulu and filet mignon plate. The filet mignon was more tender than I’ve had at $100 streakhouses and the beef lulu was seasoned to perfection. Everything from the tomato and cucumber salad to the hummus was extremely fresh!

On top of that, the lady who works the counter is extremely friendly and made sure I felt at home even though I showed up near closing time.

Hussam, the master chef/cook never fails to deliver! We typically get the chicken kabob plate with rice, hummus, salad, grilled onion & tomato, pita bread & of course the strong garlic sauce! Last time we were there on 06/25/26, Hussam made us his juicy signature shawarma sandwich wrap which was a flavor bomb! It made our taste buds explode! The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is cozy, & the cooks are friendly! We drive over 30 minutes every time we come here! It's worth the trip!

“The word is out! I honestly can say that Lemon Mint is the hottest restaurant in the SGV for excellent Mediterranean cuisine and hookah. I’ve had friends from Glendale to Orange County hearing great things about Lemon Mint and I tell them the hype is real. The cuisine is fresh and authentic. The hookah is the cherry on top to a relaxed outdoor environment. Seating is limited so plan ahead to get a great seat. For you that love hookah, we always have the “Love 66”.

“I've been searching for really good stuffed grape leaves since a former co-worker brought some of her home made dolma at work about 8 years ago... I've had some hits (mostly misses), but none compared to the one she made... now this... the search is over. Happy palate!😊 It's my first time here. What can I say? As soon as I entered the place, I can smell good things baking and cooking. The owner showed me trays of fresh baked pastries/pies (spinach, meat & cheese) as he took them out straight from the oven. Everything looked delicious. The service was great. I ordered to go and the owner gave me a sample of the Cheese Burak (Cheese Pie) to eat on the go. I started driving off and as soon as I took my first bite I regretted immediately why I did not order that.Everything we ordered were so flavorful and delicious. They also have the best Hummus. “I was referred this hidden gem by a friend to try their bakery, namely the “Laham be ajeen” aka (Safiha) but I was tempted to try their spinach pies, which turned out to be a great idea. Family enjoyed the pies more than the famous bakeries of Brookhurst of Anaheim. I have bought some Baraze’ too but unfortunately they seemed to have been slightly under-cooked so I had to give them a little bit of toasting. Maybe it’s a personal choice of mine to have sesame on baraze’ cookies a bit darker and more toasty.
Their cooking menu is good. I would order in advance.
In the small grocery section, I was surprised to find some middle eastern delicacies at a decent price such as the coveted brown truffles in brine. I filled up 😎

While they have a couple of tables, I didn’t feel it was suitable to sit. The view is the parking lot and other businesses.“

“My family and I frequent a lot of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants, whether it's a sit down restaurant or takeout--and Sahara might just be the best we've ever had!

We heard good things about Sahara and decided to check it out yesterday; and it exceeded expectations.

I had the beef kebab plate, while my mom and brother had the chicken kebab plate. We loved how they had complimentary snacks (olives, cheese, and cucumber) and also that the plate came with either soup or salad. The meat dishes were so flavorful and honestly the best we've had at any restaurant. They gave a lot of meat too; 8 pieces for each dish. The baba ghanoush was also great.

Last but not least, Mary, our server, was extremely pleasant and attentive. We can't wait to go back!“

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“
